Usually I do not notice the features of a hotel room, because usually I share them with my parents and do not investigate. But this trip… I got a hotel room to myself:) It is very nice having one huge bed to sleep on, one bed to deposite things on. A plug for my computer located near the bed, and wonder of all wonders, a DVD player actually attached to the TV in my room! That will be nice.

The trip this morning was rather uneventful. Our luggage was not lost, the plane did not crash, we did not have to use the seat cushions as flotation devices, and flying dragons did not melt the wings off with their flaming breath. I suppose that could have been figured out from the fact that the plane did not crash.

I am now getting to be a rather experienced flyer, I didn’t set off any alarms this time. We did not have any checked luggage, all carry on. The first flight was uneventful, other than the fact that I ate a granola bar I shouldn’t have. I suppose I should switch from health reasons to weight reasons, I may have a high metabolism but I weigh a lot more than I would like.

The second flight was more interesting. I sat next to a lady who was… I’m afraid I forgot what it was she was doing but it involved twirling paper and glue. She made little butterflies, flowers, ladybugs(she gave me one of these). We talked crafts a bit and I told her about Bethjoy.com so “Hello” if you are reading this! That flight went by very quickly.

Then we went to see my father’s father’s sister. We took her in our rental car(a really nice one) all around tulsa and we drove through the campus were my Mom and Dad went to collage and first met. Then we ate at the Sonic:) I had a grilled cheese sandwhich, a corndog, and a milk, all for less than a side salad costs at some places I’ve eaten. We had a fun time driving around then after we had said our goodbyes drove on to Arkensas.

We had a bathroom stop at McDonalds and I have been wanting to go there for ages since the Neopets Happy Meal prizes are out and I wanted one. I got two, a blue Ixi and a yellow Chomby. Not exactly my two favorite Neopets but not my least favorite. Also they only cost $3.60 for the two of them and I didn’t even have to buy a happy meal! Since they’re cute little stuffed animals I was satisfied.

So we are now in Arkensas and it is about six this time, seven our time, and I may get in a bit of a nap before going to Grandma’s house.
