You are hereby invited to a test advertisement for The Light Source
In case you do not know, my Dad owns The Light Source, a company that makes clamps to hang lights with as well as other things of like nature. Recently The Light Source website has been given some tweaks, by Daniel(who else?) and it now has more products etc. on it. So what I think I am going to try to do is write here an advertisement story for The Light Source that way my Dad can see it and I can find out whether it can be put on The Light Source website and whether I might possibly get paid for it…
Once upon a time there was a very young and beautiful princess who was about to celebrate her eighteenth birthday. On this special occasion the king of that land declared that a special ball was to be given. The queen, who was found of decorating, ordered that all of the crystal chandeliers in the ball be room be hung with garlands of flowers and bird cages so that the air would be filled with sweet perfume and sweet song. All was going well, until the queen decided to use gold bird cages, for gold bird cages are heavy and already there was a great deal of weight on the chandeliers. So it was that as the queen stood back for the full effect of the room, one of the old cast iron clamps(NOT a Light Source Clamp) that attached the chandelier to the roof, broke and the chandelier and all on it came crashing to the ground, fortunately no one was beneath it. As if that was a signal all of the other chandeliers came crashing down, all of them save one. That chandelier had been but recently added and it was hung by a (insert climactic music here) Mega Clamp.
The king came in to view the damage and he suddenly had a vision of what would have happened if there had been people underneath the chandeliers. The King immediately called in the royal lighting director and asked him for an explanation. It was fairly clear what had happened, the non Light Source Clamps had broken under the weight but the Mega Clamp was still holding the weight quite easily and didn’t even look the slightest bit stretched. So the king immediately banished the old clamps from his land and ordered The Light Source Clamps to replace them, and just to make sure that the new crystal chandeliers the queen ordered didn’t break, he even used Mega Claws
which had a stronger load rating, that way if the queen chose to hang elephants from the crystal chandeliers she could do so…
Everything was fixed in time for the princesses birthday party and it was a grand success and the birds chirped merrily as they had no fear of falling and everybody lived happily ever after.
MORAL: Use The Light Source Products
(small print: Note, an elephant would probably be a bit heavy to hang with just one Mega Claw, but you could probably hang an elephant with more than one Mega Claw, however I do not recommend trying this at home.)
