I have just had a very delightful conversation with John
This evening as I lay in bed using my computer I suddenly decided to go downstairs as I felt in the mood for a little smakeral of something. On going downstairs I was surprised to see a figure by the toaster oven and at first thinking it was Andrew and then finding out it was John(I didn’t have my glasses on) I was quite pleased. Not that I don’t like Andrew but he isn’t engaged. John is very nice and communicative and I found that the engagement happened at precisely 10:51 P.M. on Tuesday and that he had had the ring with him in his back pocket the entire evening, and that Erin was quite surprised to get it. He hasn’t kissed her yet as they are waiting for the minister to say, “You may now kiss the bride”, which I think is great because then I’ll get to see their first kiss! And you can be sure I’ll write about it:)
John said that Erin liked the box I had hand cross stitched for her. I designed the design myself and it has John and Erin on it and the initials J E and little red hearts… It’s a very tiny box. John brought it with him this evening as he was going to see Erin.
It’s nice that neither John nor Erin are very “secretive” or “shy”. They don’t mind my asking plenty of questions and what is more, they don’t seem to mind my posting their answers on here! Though I’m not mentioning everything John said this evening on here. For one thing, it would take a bit too long. And for another thing, I can’t remember it all word for word. He did read the previous post I made and found a grammatical error, which I have fixed. Apparently I said, “is going to be engaged” instead of, “is engaged” and to make everything perfectly clear I shall now say…
JOHN IS ENGAGED TO ERIN!!!(wedding march plays)
Hopefully that makes everything perfectly clear and plain and simple:) I am very much looking forward to Saturday when I’ll probably see Erin next. For one thing, I’d like to know her opinion of these posts and I may have thought up a few questions by then that I forgot to ask John to add to the list of the ones I already asked him but, at his suggestion, I’m going ask her to get her side of the story. So there probably will be a very interesting post posted on here Saturday, although there is a slight chance of it merely being Ecstasies of Rapture over bridesmaid’s dresses, as I am probably going to meet Erin at David’s Bridal to look at bridesmaid’s dresses. I hope it won’t be about the Agonies of Doom and Despair over the lack of dresses in my size that I like and could wear… I think that rhymed, Despair and Wear. I also think I ought to go to sleep now. So end of post.
