I played a computer game today. It was an old computer game, “Lords of the Realm 2″. I have faint recollections of my brothers playing it in days when every one in our family did not have their own computers and there were just too of them in the school room for our use.

Andrew was playing it again today and I watched him, then I asked if I could play. Andrew typed in my name as “The Queen” which since the goal of the game is to become the sovereign ruler of the country, it was an appropriate name.

Although when I first started I did not expect to win, I did. Andrew helped and the game was on easy but still, I won! I won. I was playing by myself for the last bit of the game. And even Daniel was impressed by the amount of gold I had(from taxes) at the end of the game. I had a great deal of fun playing and I’ll probably play another game at some point.

Currently something is high on my list of things to do, and that is make a southern belle ball gown out of some fabric I just bought. But I think that that will have to wait until I have a nice long nap this afternoon, I’m tired.
