Just one more day… Just one more day…
This is probably the longest I’ve ever done everything on my to do list. Fortunately the To Do list ends on Friday and I plan to do a lot of relaxation on Saturday. Doing a whole unit of school has probably been the hardest and most exhausting part of the schedule. After all, for a years worth of school with four subjects there are forty units. So I’ve been doing 1/40 of a school year every single day(Or 1/10 of a years worth of a subject each day) and I’m getting a headache and my eyes are behaving strangely and refusing to read with comprehension. Fortunately I just completed Unit Nine of History today and and I just have ONE UNIT left and that one is a review unit. Now to see just how much of my school I can remember. I don’t have very high expectations of my memory but this I know, I will eventually get an A on the final test, it just may require some retaking of it to get there.
Something funny I noticed in the last lesson(or actually it wasn’t that funny but to a crazed mind revolting from school work any distraction is worthwhile of pausing for) which was discussing Osoma Bin Laden(I learned how to spell Sadam Hussein today) mentioned a group of Islamic Terrorist that he had belonged to which name translated into English meant more or less “Seeker”. Consider all of the “Seeker” friendly churches out there… I don’t think I’ll say anything more. But church is NOT intended to make everybody happy with themselves. It’s supposed to make lost sinners aware of their sins and their desperate need to be saved by the cleansing power of Jesus. However the church is also for the edifying of the church and primarily it is meant to bring glory and honor to God and give the people a place where they can meet and worship him.
One thing which an overview of history, accurate history, can give you is the feeling that quite a few people are idiots. Or at least, they behave in ways which, when reviewed later, can lead to the assumption that they behaved like idiots whether they were ones or not. I myself have done, and probably still do, stupid and idiotic things. It’s probably just human nature and I’m very thankful that there is a God in heaven who is very patient and very loving who puts up with us. But he won’t be doing it forever to those who are not saved so if you are not a Christian I would highly advise becoming one.
And now since I am rather tired and I still have a few other things left on my list to do I’m going to end this post and I hope you’ll think about the previous sentence.
