These stories are so fun I just made another. This one makes a bit more sense and was written better. I like having morals at the end of my stories so I put some on. In some cases they can have great meaning... Hopefully you will enjoy this tale and don't forget to hit the refresh button.

Today Daniel has just shown me a bit of code:) With this code I was able to make something completely random. So each time you refresh the page, this story will change:) Enjoy!
Once upon a time there was a who wanted to but prevented them. So the tried to with their but that did not work however since their was .
So in the end had to just and live happily ever after.
I am currently much enjoying this book. So far there is something funny every few paragraphs and if I keep it up until the end of the book maybe some one will like it enough to publish it.
I have long wondered how long a page in a book is and I have finally learned, it is aproximatly 55 characters across and 32 lines down. This vital information I discovered by taking a few novels and counting the amount of characters and lines. I plugged these numbers into text edit and brought up a box that was exactly that so now I can find out how many pages I have writen in a book. There are a lot of words on a page and a lot of typing to be done to fill them... At least I am getting faster with my typing.
It is amazing just how many different projects I have started and not completed, especially in writing. At least I know that later, when I am tired of one project I can go back and work on the other.
Curently I have quite a few plots, ideas, and stories. You know, I think I'm going to find out just how many pages "The Royal Crowns of Scotland" was.
It was about fifty five book pages long! Having done a bit of research on book lengths, I need to at least double and potienally quadruple that. :(
That is a lot of typing... However if I put in a lot of (comments) I might be able to make this story long enough without stretching the plot to extreme limits. Currently the eight pages I have consist of a forward, all of chapter one, and a bit of chapter two. So it will be interesting to see what happens with this story.
Also if I will ever begin a long story and finish it as long or longer than intended!
I know when writing fiction anything can happen and anything is possible but I am writing a story and the focal point is a necklace of a hundred perfectly matched pearls that are an inch in diameter.
I think a necklace like that would be at least three yards long and rather heavy, but could it be worn? Well for the sake of the book I shall say YES and use it since the hundred pearls are the focal point of the whole book. Oh and the name of it will be "Elaine's Pearls". It is like that like so many other of my writing projects I shall work on it for a time then stop and let it collect dust but frequently I go back and use old material. All yesterday almost I worked on this story and though I still haven't named most of the important characters(In fact I have just named Elaine, Elaine, and Elthia and have left The Prince, The Duke, The Queen, The King, The Stepmother, The Father, The Stepsister, The Earl, The Colonel, and The Other Supporiting Characters nameless. But you can't have everything.)
I am now back to ramblin and () which means that the opening of the book is rather (). It would be nice if I actually finished this book, it might be very interesting.
However it is about as likely that a petite young bride could wear a necklace of a hundred inch in diameter pearls.
On the trip the time difference was considerable so when we returned there was an adjustment to make. So I foolishly thought I could do something nice, wake up at six and have three whole hours before breakfast at nine. Well, I could wake up at six but so is everybody else and now breakfast is at seven thirty. :( :( :( :( :( The whole idea of waking up early was to have my undisturbed time(Usually between nine in the evening and one in the morning) to write etc in the morning and go to bed early. So now the whole purpose of waking up early has been defeated. I am extremely unhappy right now because getting up earlier will probably make me want to go to sleep earlier and then I won't have any undisturbed time for writing!!!
Also I don't like being yelled at every morning. "ELIZABETH BREAKFAST" Shouted by five persons is extremely unpleasant. Today it was only four because Daniel is gone(I really miss, and worse of all my phone charger is lost so I can't call him).
Anyway I am almost crying right now and I feel miserable and sick. What a pleasant way to start a morning...
I suppose I really shouldn't be writing when I am really depressed, it makes everything more depressing to see it written down. Oh well, most people make mountains sound like mole hills but a mole hill would be quite a mountain to an centimeter high person.
And before I begin a discussion on logic and preparations I shall end this post and go downstairs and clear the table as I have been yelled at, I mean asked to do. At least in my old age I'll be used to it and it is mainly my fault, for very little less than pounding on my door and "ELIZABETH" is enough to get me up in the morning, I like to sleep.
You know, "The Inevitable Doom Hath Come" would make a great book title. It probably already is a book but sometime I might write a story with that title, next time I'm in a depressed state of mind maybe.
I'm going to have a great time with my "Random Fairy Tale Generator". There is nothing like having a bunch of things and putting them together so that they work and make perfect sense. I'm afraid most of these stories won't be very humorous but I may put humor in later. It is very enjoyable seeing things come together. Hopefully I can write five stories a week which would make this book done in five weeks, then probably another week for editing and being out of schedule. Then if it is good enough I might try attempting to get it published. Then again I may not. I might just wait until I have the entire trilogy written and then send them out.
Or perhaps I could just sell it off this website through pay pal! I wish... Wouldn't it be nice(for me) if I could actually get money from Bethjoy.com? Oh how delightful it would be! But instead I think I'll just plug away at my writing and I think I ought to read the Thesaurus.
You know, it's odd but the Butler is almost never the hero and usually the villain. I wonder why?
Any way I just wrote the "Random Fairy Tale Generator" and I wrote a bit more for it than I expected. Instead of being ten groups of ten it is eleven groups of ten. Which means that even more stories can come forth out of it. So now I'll be randomly writing down numbers and then seeing what sort of a story I come up with and writing it. Which should be a very fun game:)
I may post the "Random Fairy Tale Generator" later but I don't want you to know what might happen before it happens.
I'm getting up earlier in the morning. Though currently it's more of "Late to bed, Early to get up, makes me sleepy, weepy, and fed up". I've started a new project, as I want very much to get something published I've started a story that I'm going to try to get good enough to publish. Then if I think that book is good enough I'm going to make it into a trilogy and I already have all of the names.
Twenty Five Tales of Taldan
Twenty Five Myths of Mylar
Twenty Five Legends of Laroth
Of course I still have to make certain that nobody else has written about Taldan, Mylar, and Laroth but if other lands in other books already have those names I can change them without too much difficulty. Any way there will be twenty five different short stories in each of the books that happen in the land the book is about with perhaps small journeys into other countries. Tales, Myths, and Legends sound like they would make a very good trilogy.
But one thing about this is that I'll need to write seventy five stories in total, so to help in that work I'm going to write "The Random Fairy Tale Generator" today or some other time. I'll list A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and I then 1 - 10 for each of the letters then have key story parts listed so there will be ten different heros, ten different main story lines, ten different villains, ten different side kicks, or secondary characters, etc...
Then to make it random I shall randomly chose ten numbers from 1 - 10 and see if I can make sense out it. That challenge should aid in the interesting process of writing seventy five short stories.
Perhaps if I knew programing code I could write a real "Random Fairy Tale Generator" I'll have to ask Daniel about that when he gets back from the beach. I'm really going to miss him.
Any way it would definitely be nice to be published and I am going to be working a lot on my writing so that I can be. And now to start writing "The Random Fairy Tale Generator", or perhaps do something else.
Google is very useful sometimes. But still I think that if you don't know what you're looking for you probably won't find it. Any way I would like to get something published eventually so I was nosing around the internet looking at publishers and so forth. I found quite a lot of nothing much. Several places charged you a bit of money to have your book published then gave you royalties if and when the book sold. I also found a book I might want to get, it's a comprehensive guide on publishers. I suppose the important thing is to write something worth getting published and since longer books are the type that get published I probably should work on one or two. However, many shorter stories shoved together into a collection could also work.
For example perhaps a story that followed the adventures of a prince who later becomes a king and then has seven sons and then the story follows the adventures of all of the seven sons and perhaps their children. That could be a long and confusing book. So instead I think that just inventing a kingdom and having several stories that take place in different parts of that kingdom would probably be best and I'll probably write up a lot of short stories in the near future.
At some point I do want to have a book published but I am not in a hurry and I will definitely do a lot of writing and research before I submit anything. Also I am well aware of the great and mighty Letter of Rejection. You know "The Great and Mighty Letter of Rejection" would make a good book title, so would "Ten Easy Steps to Attain Great Wealth". And the ten steps would probably be
1. Work hard
2. Start a savings account
3. Find ways to save money, like home schooling, eating healthy inexpensive food, not going to the movies and just wait until the DVD comes out, Don't go to the mall and find a very nice thrift store, don't eat candy since it is expensive and makes your dental bill go up.
4. Work some more
5. Be patient while your savings account grows
6. Still work and save
7. Early to bed Early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise
8. Consider doing profitable hobbies, like making things that sell for a profit.
9. Don't worry, number ten is near so just continue working hard.
10. Eventually you may Attain Great Wealth but it all depends on your definition of great wealth, in olden days and to certain people a quarter was great wealth and even a million dollars is no longer considered great wealth to some.
MORAL: It is better to live a happy and contented life than to be filthy rich and unhappy.
Now how did I get on this subject? I suppose it doesn't really matter, but I do have a lot of writing planned, I might do some more commercials, they're rather fun but I do need to start memorizing my lines. Any way, maybe a year or so from now there will be a book out with "By Elizabeth J. Von Fange" on it that can be bought in stores and maybe I'll actually get some money back from my writing. But I will probably always write for the pleasure of writing, and the pleasure of seeing people read what I write and the pleasure of getting compliments on it and maybe later, for the pleasure of getting a check for it!
Oh, and I am beginning typing class(Translation, I'm using Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing again) so I hope I'll be able to type really fast soon. Currently I am at about fifty words per minute but I'd like to be faster.
It is interesting how the word "Dies" is in the word "Tragedies". Anyway once I read a book called "The Golden Fleece" and it was so depressing, the hero had three beautiful women fall in love with him or him fall in love with them and one he sailed away and left, the other he ceased to love when he met the third girl who was killed by the second girl. Also there was a lot of other tragic stuff. However there is some potential humor in a Greek Tragedy and I think I'll write one. Not being very good with the Greek writing style I shall simply invent my own Greekish style both for the writing and the names. Prepare for every one dying and a horribly depressing ending.
On an Island near Greece a prince was born named Rincous. This prince grew up to be a great warrior and became a king when his father died by drinking poison in a cup offered by his wife, who when she realized what she had done drank the poison too and died in remorseful agony. (Having two people die in the first two sentences isn't bad for a Greek Tragedy), Now Rincous loved(or desired) a princess of a nearby kingdom and he decided to send emissaries to ask for her hand in marriage.
The emissaries went and were told that whomsoever brought the Sword of Woricus should have the Princess's hand in marriage. Therefore the emissaries returned to Rincous and on the way their boat was severely damaged during fierce storms and half the crew was lost. Upon hearing that the sword of Woricus was the bride price of the Princess he was not as glad as he could have been for Woricus was a great prince and warrior and his sword was possessed of a virtue that the owner thereof could never die while he held it. However he resolved to try and attain the sword and as he was leaving in his chariot his favorite dog bounded out to see him and as Rincous was occupied in thinking of Woricus and the Princess he did not see him and ran him down with his chariot and greatly regretted it when he heard the sad whimpers behind him and turning he saw a great tragedy, for the dog died!
With this mournful scene behind him he set out to see Woricus and after many unpleasant adventures he came to Woricus's city only to find that he was gone from thence and had left for the city where the Princess dwelt.
Then Rincous turned his chariot and sped off to the Princess's city and this time he did not run over a dog, he just ran over several cute little kittens that were blissfully playing in the street before beginning successful careers in catching mice.
When, after many more unpleasant adventures, he finally reached the city of the Princess he was just in time to behold the wedding of Woricus and the Princess before his chariot wheel hit a large rock in road and tipped over plunging Rincous over the edge of a nearby cliff into the ocean where he and his team of horses died. But Woricus and the Princess lived happily ever after to prove that all dark clouds have silver linings though hundreds of persons get killed by lightning looking for them.
And now that I have thoroughly depressed myself(The poor dog and kittens! I hate it when the dog dies...) I shall say that in most of the Greek stories they seem to pick the wrong person to be hero. Now if Woricus had been the hero instead of Rincous this story would have been a happy one because he was a great warrior with a powerful sword and he married a beautiful princess and lived happily ever after and did not run over creatures with his chariot.
And quite frankly I do think that the way I did it was rather funny. I'll down load it to my video camera and show it off at dinner and then perhaps try to find a way to put it up on my website so that you can see it.
I just finished filming, now to video edit! And here for your reading pleasure is the comercial. During the talking there are some shots of the plates and cups.
Hello! I'm Ima Breaker of Chepped Dishes here to show you our latest product. Here at Chepped Dishes we believe in saving money so instead of wasting money on useless research techniques, we merely survey our employees and see what they want in dishes.
With this information we created our newest set, we call it "The Basic Floral Employee Set" For this set we concentrated on thrift and beauty instead of durability, making this set quite affordable.
As our research has shown us that plates break before cups we have thrown in an extra plate into the set for use when one of the other plates breaks.
Our competitors might call our products "Expensive Paper Plates" but though our products are discardable there is nothing like the experience of using a Chepped dish. So order your set of three cups and four plates today! Until next commercial this is Ima Breaker of Chepped Dishes signing out and remember, There is nothing like using a Chepped Dish!.
I just finished writing what I think will be good enough for the comercial. I think I'll just go ahead and film it for the fun of it. I've all ready selected what I'm going to wear so now all I have to do is get my camera out, find my tripod and film it.
Blinds, like silverware, telephones and pencils, have always rejoyced in tormenting me. Or at anyrate I can't use them very well. But I have just discovered the secret behind blinds! I was supposed to close two blinds and they weren't cooporating. So in desperation I yelled ARG!!! as I tugged at the cord and the blind went down! On the other bilnd I yelled ARG!!! as I tugged the cord and that blind went down. Fascinating! I suppose to go up I should yell GRA!!! and maybe the blind will cooporate.
I think that I want to film something and I also think that something very short and simple would probably be better than an action epic. So I think I'll do some comercials. I just got an idea for a comercial and it is rather funny so I'll try to write up something and if I get a funny script I'll post it.
I do apoligise for the scarcity and incompletness of my posts, oh well. I am now going to satisfy my burning curiosty as to what has been happening on Neopets and in the Comic strips while I have been away.
All though I haven't left the boat yet the premonition that I will be doing so is clouding unpleasantly the surroundings. We will be leaving the boat in just a few hours! Then it will be a very very very very very very long flight home with more hours than verys. I am feeling moderately sick and had just finished my packing when I realized that I still had an Ipod, computer, cell phone, and their respective chargers to pack into two all ready full bags. Fortunately I will be able to put most of that in my fanny pack and hopefully squeeze Eowyn in my suitcase. Traveling certainly broadens both ones luggage and oneself.
When I return I definitely have a lot to do. Post these posts, check my Email, read the comics, play on Neopets for a bit, write the BWM(Not quite BMW), Film it, Unpack, Get Well, look at more cruises(The heart of man is never satisfied) and do many more things and not necessarily in one day, or in one week even, Filming and writing the BWM or the BM will take some time and also will unpacking and getting well. When I wish to use my computer, getting sick is somewhat pleasant.
Well, I suppose I'll close this post, and it's 1:05 at home though it is 7:05 here. Going back and suddenly changing time will be slightly unpleasant but at least I feel like I need to be asleep right now.
Today was very interesting. This morning we went on board a small sailing vessel that was over a hundred years old and cruised around Oslo for a bit. Then we went to the Fram museum and gift shop. I got a little tiny boat for 45 kronan, or about seven dollars.
Then I got back on the boat and took a nap until three thirty when the ice cream place opened. Then at four something important happened, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was on in the Princess Theater. I now know why popcorn is encouraged at movie theaters. During the more exciting moments having something to bite into is most comforting.
Any way the boat is moving around a lot and I feel almost sea sick and I have a lot of packing to do. Also I wish I could go upstairs and eat some desserts and I just might do that.
Today we were in Hamburg Germany and the people there are "Hamburgers". There are many McDonalds there. We went oon our tour to Schewrin(I don't think that this is how it was spelled but it was something like that), a lovely town and castle. The castle was fascinating with many lovely rooms. We had lunch there and afterwards I added to my art collection by purchasing several reproduction postcards of some of the paintings in the castle. The Duchesses of Schewrin wore very lovely outfits and their portraits were all over the place.
I was very tired for most of the day and slept through most of Hamburg. My eyes still aren't cooperating and I doubt they will until I get home again. I've had a fun cruise but it is almost over and then it will be time to be home again. Then it will be time to work and earn my new Eowyn and get used to our time again.
Today there were Alfred Hitchcock movies on the television and I think I made the mistake of watching one. Hopefully I won't have nightmares about being strangled by my two best friends who wanted to experience how it felt to murder. Ughhh... I don't like movies like that, I much prefer happy endings and not immoral and strangely logical people. At least in Arsenic and Old Lace it was funny and had a happy ending.
My eyes are complaining again so I think it is time to go to bed. When I get back I'll have a lot of work to do on the movie I am working on. I'll have to get my camera out and practice a few of the shots I'll be doing. As I wrote in my notes, the special effects department of Elizabeth Unlimited is going to love this movie.
However speaking form the point of view of the special effects department I think that "Yeah Right" would be an appropriate answer. If there were more of me it would probably be a bit easier but I think that this film won't be too impressive looking since I can't act and move my stuffed animals at the same time and I don't have technology to make their mouths open and close in synchronization to their lines. However close ups of cute little stuffed animals may be interesting enough.
Speaking of cute little animals I just bought a little seal in one of the shops. He is so cute! He has a little Pirate's hat, eye patch and a few other piraty things.
However now I really must go to bed. Tomorrow is my last at sea day and I want to enjoy. And I have eaten way to much sugar this cruise.
A rather unusual day. My eye problem is still continuing. I switched from my new glasses to my old glasses in case my eyes prefer them. There are only a few days left on the cruise and I want my eyes to cooperate for them so I'm spoiling them as much as possible.
This morning I slept in until ten, which was very nice. Lord of the Rings the Return of the King was on last night and I watched it until my eyes wouldn't let me watch it any more. I rather enjoyed it and I am looking forward to seeing the special edition.
After breakfast minutes before the breakfast area closed I went back to my room for a while then went to the final writing class. I am really going to miss those. Any way the writing assignment was rather unusual, we were divided into teams of two and given a rock then told to write about it. I wrote about the rock and here is what I wrote.
The Rock
This is a rather unusual rock. For one thing, it has a hole straight through the center which means that it might have been an ancient telescope. It is primarily grey with a bit of white. There are many strange crevices in it, as though dragon might have chewed it for a while or as though bullets had been shot into it. It is very smooth other wise, as though it had been used frequently for rubbing something, perhaps a sword!
So my conclusion of the history of this rock is this, it was used by a look out of an ancient civilization as a telescope and as the look out was using it to polish his sword instead of looking out a dragon attacked and the look out threw the stone at the dragon who caught it in his mouth and after he chewed it he spit it out onto the beach where it remained until Ellen picked it up and brought it to class and I wrote about it.
Just so you know my teachers name is Ellen. The cruise staff were kind enough to offer prizes for attending the classes and submitting a poem for printing in a little booklet that will be a memory of the cruise. I got a rather interesting something which I wrote about like this and though it is not exactly my reaction to seeing it, it is rather close to it.
The Prize
After submitting my poem I picked up my prize. It was a large white box and slightly heavy. What could be in it I wondered? When I opened it I still wondered what it could be. It was a silver cylinder with Princess, Where I belong written on it. It had a black lid that opened on top. Inside was canned dark which escaped when I opened it. Since I had been in a writing class I thought that it must have something to do with writing. It was a little big for a pencil holder and a little small for a trash can for rejection letters but it could work for both purposes. However I realized after a while that it was just a thermos type thing for coffee or liquids. But the possibilities for it are still endless.
So that is what I wrote about my prize. When I first got the rock I wrote something else about it but I didn't like it as much so I wrote the other one, but here is what I wrote first.
Once upon a time there was a rock. It was lying on a beach. Most people would have thought that there was nothing special about this rock, but if they did think this they would be wrong. For it was a very special rock. Many hundreds of years ago that seemingly insignificant rock had played several vital roles in history. I thad tripped Napoleon temporally causing confusion in the battle and giving the English a chance to be victorious. It had served as a door jamb and paper weight to many a Military leader and it had even been thrown through several windows during the French Revolution. Oh yes, this and many other seemingly insignificant rocks have played roles in world history, just look at Mount Rushmore!
I don't think that that was as good as the other though it has potential. Any way here is the end of this post.
Windmills and Wooden shoes, two things that Holland is known for. I saw plenty of them. First we went on the bus to Amsterdam where we got on a boat and took a scenic tour of Amsterdam. Then it was time to go on the bus again for more touring which ended up in a Dutch restaurant where I ate Dutch food for the first time in my life. The ice cream for desert was good.
Then we went to a wooden shoe factory where there was a very nice gift shop and I got a small pair of wooden shoes, two pairs in fact, one pair a keychain and the other a magnet.
Then we came back to the boat. I was extremely tired when I came back and forgot to post and now it is very late at night and I am just writing something. I think there is something wrong with my eyes, they are killing me and watery and they hurt! I can't really see right now so fortunately I'll be able to check this over later.
I've definitely been eating way too much sugar recently, I feel very sick. Hopefully I'll feel better in the morning.
I would like to make a feature length movie. Now as I learned in Screen play class there is a "Format" which is that there are three acts. Act one has twenty scenes. Act two has thirty scenes. Act three has twenty scenes. Which is in total, about seventy scenes.
Now my plot, though very good, does not even come close to having that many scenes or being able to fit in that format which means that I could just make a long(for me) half hour movie with the plot I have currently and skip the format or I could add something else. I think that BOTH might work. Perhaps I should shoot a regular one and then have the special edition be a full length feature film. Or perhaps I should do a television mini series and have commercials. Now that would be fun! But I think I'l save that for later.
Any way I thought up something to make the story longer. I was going to have everything take place in one night, but now I am rethinking. In the previous plot all of my stuffed animals and Eowyn come alive more or less at the same time but it might be interesting to have Eowyn come first and the others follow after during several days while there are mysterious scenes taking place in BW where plans of world domination are hinted at and the experiments are seen. But what should be happening during those several days?
Well I thought of something that might almost be. I could be making and video editing a movie during that time period! Something fairly short perhaps but the filming of it could take up most of Act one and the video editing could take up a bit of act two and maybe it could be watched at one point, maybe when it is known that there are just a few minutes before the Portal will work and the army will come poring in and all preparations possible have been made to receive them, I and my stuffed animals can sit down for maybe the last time and watch "The Banana of DOOM" Then if I want to have another cliffhanger they could attack before the movie is over and all of my stuffed animals might fight there hardest because they want to survive to see the end of the movie and whether the Banana of DOOM will be found.
I definitely am thinking up ideas tonight but it is about time to go to bed. However I think I will have "The Banana of DOOM" in there because, though it isn't necessary I might be able to make it necessary and that would be a fun challenge to take something that seemingly immaterial and make it vitally important to the safety of our world!
Filming this movie is going to be fun. For one thing there will be a lot of special effects and for another I will be acting the role of ME and I don't know how I would act in the situations I am creating. Probably I would not do what I'll do in the movie(successfully save the world) but I'll try to make it a rather funny movie and one that my family will sit through at least once.
But first I'll have to earn a new computer for the video editing part of this, but I can get the script and the filming and everything in between done before then maybe.
I will be very, very busy when I return home.
Contrary to my expectations I had a grand time in Paris. We got on the bus for a three hour nap to Paris and when there we say Paris the best way possible, from the inside of a vehicle not driven by ourselves with a knowledgeable person to tell us what we were seeing.
Our first stop was the Eiffel tower where we took some pictures and then stopped by the street venders nearby and bought a souvenir or two. I got a really pretty miniature Eiffel Tower keychain and Mom got more than I did.
Then it was a pleasant bus trip to the restaraunt where we had a French Bread:), salad, chicken:(, and desert :D. Desert was a piece of blueberry pie and despite the disapproving frowns of Mom I ate all of it.
Then we went to Notre Dame were we briefly saw the sights of the cathedral and then liesurly saw the sights of the shops where I spent quite a few Euros and bought a small dagger that says Paris on it. After all I have read of Paris it was a very appropriate souvenir.
Then it was time for the bus ride back and I played four monopoly games on my cell phone during that time. I lost the first game but won the rest and since I have to go get ready for dinner I'll write more later perhaps.
I have just finished eating super. Tomorrow is a ten hour shore excursion to Paris and I just had ice cream today(sugar kind) so I may not be in the best of moods for Paris tomorrow. I certianly wasn't in Spain. However I am bringing a bit more stuff with me so if I keep entertained I may not feel like crying as much. Currently I am charging Daniel's Ipod.
During diner I thought of an Idea for something funny. Have a bunch of book titles strung together with a few other words thrown in to make an interesting message. "Emma", have been "Kidnapped" "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". Send help. "Dr. Jekal and Mr. Hyde"
At the moment I think I'll work a bit on my movie before going to bed. Hopefully Ideas shall pour forth. I have a very good plot, a lot of back ground information and now I need some characters as none of the attacking force's leaders have names left, but I think it should take me too long to name them and figure out who and what they will be.
Today I went to another writing class and it was primarily about art. She handed out some pictures of paintings and had us write about our impressions of them. I was writing about a strange looking modern art piece that was black patterns over a grayish white pattern and had other bits of color. Here is what I wrote.
I think that it looks very much like a veiw through trees with a mountain range and a city in the background. The trees are rather unusually shaped, but in a fantasy land it is entirely plausible.
From different angles the painting looks different and evokes different feelings. My first impression was that it reminded me of a forest, but my fellow writers feelings were vastly different. Pictures of faces kept appearing to them that I didn't see. But I think that is something about great art, everyone sees something different.
Not very good but oh well. While I was there I thought of an idea, maybe put a picture of painting on my website and write a story about it. Some could make very interesting stories...
Any way, it is time for a nap right now.
SPECIAL NOTE: I am trying to post these in the order they were written but I am not doing a very good job. This post happened several days before the others.
Formal Night! I dressed up in my beautiful blue gown that I like very well. It is very fun to wear since the skirt is very full and looks lovely while twirling. It's current ten right now, though my computer says nine since I haven't changed its time and don't intend to. We dined at the Michalangelo restaurant and I had two desserts. Then we went to see a comedy magician and was very funny and talented. His slight of hand really seemed like magic... Any way I am very tired so I'm planning on taking a short nap right now... Maybe until tomorrow but I doubt it, as soon as I undress and get into bed I'll probably wake up a bit.
Oh, did I mention the fact that I was wearing my tiara? I'm looking forward to next formal night...
I am now in a much better mood than I was when I last posted. I have rested and I just went with my parents to see a movie called "Cheaper by the Dozen". I read the book and the movie is nothing like the book but it was still very interesting. The day after tomorrow is Paris, and it is a ten hour shore excursion :( That is a very long time to be away from the cruise shiop and though I have wanted to go to Paris, I am not really looking forward to the length of the shore excursion.
The cruise has just flown by, I wish it hadn't. Oh well, I have a lot of memories and I did some writing and I now know the screen play format and I've gotten two good plots done, one for a movie and one for a story, and I also have a few souvenirs of the trip.
So now to end this post.
Of all the countries I have visited Spain seems to be the one where unpleasant things happen. Last time I was in Spain we had lunch there, and my food was looking at me! This time there was a lot of walking and we were on our own so we walked up many side streets trying to go around the cathedral and just when I saw the main road that would have led us back to the bus, Mom decided to turn around.
I didn't have a very fun time in Spain. Especially shopping wise. There were a lot of shops, but everything I liked was way too expensive and many things I didn't like were in abundance. I almost cried and was rather upset during the tour. I'm glad to be back on the cruise ship though now I have to get again because Mom is hungry and I am not:(
Today we were in Lisbon and we took a shore excursion to two places, one of which I don't know how to spell or pronounce and the other was a most delightful place named Sintra. In the first place we went to we walked a little ways until we found two nice gift shops and I bought myself a little tiny blue owl and a fan. Then we boarded the bus and went to Sintra.
Sintra was beautiful. It was up on a mountain and there was a castle up on top of the mountain. But more importantly every where you looked were small, delightful shops. Shops, Shops, Shops! I had a great deal of fun there. I bought two fans and a lovely shawl with a fringe. So I had fun.
In the bus I discovered something. A tiny little sony camera! The person who had it said that they only cost about $200.00 Expensive yet more affordable and so cute and tiny! It is smaller than my cell phone! I think it would be very fun to have pictures on here because I can't describe a place very vividly. Or maybe it is just because I never bother to take the time to do it.
Any way it is time for food for I am very hungry and tired from the shore excursion. I had a fun time today.
I now have a finished plot and I think it will work very well! It has a beginning, a middle, and an end that will allow for a sequel should I feel like doing one. However I won't think about that right now since I am very sleepy and I am not feeling particularly well since I have been eating way to much sugar lately so it is now time to go to bed.
This movie will be doing good to be an hour long. I don't think I'll add in a bunch of useless scenes just to make the movie longer so it will probably be closer to a half an hour long, but that still will be good. The plot is very interesting. I'm working on it right now. I am getting sleepy but I'll probably be able to type for a bit longer.
Well, a lot of what is on the television is pretty worthless, and, to be quite honest, disgusting. But... I have gotten some ideas. Tonight the Matrix was on. I've seen a spoof of it and seen the cover of the DVD so I thought I'd watch it. Well........ I couldn't help but think that I could write a much better movie. Though I watched it from the beginning it was very, very unclear and I still don't understand a lot of it, but I could say the same for "The Silmarilion"(I don't know how to spell it)
Anyway I started typing on my computer after it was over. For some strange, odd and unusual reason I wanted to write, then film a movie that would be much more worth watching than the Matrix. Besides I think it would be fun to save the world, in a movie at least.
So with a deal of typing I have created the beginnings of a plot. I have chosen a deadly foe and have found a plausible way to heroically save the earth! And I think I'll do it by pulling the batteries out of a remote. However it is not the battery from the master Television remote which would knock out all of the TV's in the world(which might be a good way to save the world) but instead a remote that is actually the portal between our world and a different one that I am making up.
Considering what I have written so far on this story it should be very interesting. I am going to try very hard to make the entire movie make perfect sense, and I am also going to try very hard to write it in screen play form and make it as long as a feature length movie which means that it probably won't ever be done but if I do stop the project I'll post my notes and hopefully you will be amused.
An additional note, since "Computers" seem to be the enemy, in my story Eowyn(My laptop) is going to be the one who warns me of encroaching danger by typing in an empty text box "Warning, Warning, Will Robinson". Actually I doubt she'll say that, perhaps something more like "Open war is upon you whether you would risk it or not." but that is more like an answer to a statement than an opening. I'll think of something.
I am going to try to make this movie very humorous in a way, the enemy I have selected is in it's own way so ridiculous that the seriousness of the situation would be impossible to explain to the FBI, as Eowyn will probably tell me. And now while genius burns I'm going back to typing my notes for this interesting movie, and I sincerely hope I'll think of a good movie title that won't prepare any one for what lies ahead...
Oh, in case I forgot to mention it today is Mother's Day. Oh, and I can't believe I almost missed Formal night! I was going to just have room service this evening but I decided to have dinner with Mom and Dad. As we walked out Mom noticed the amount of Formal wear and she decided to check, and it was formal night!!!
So I dressed up and finally got to wear a necklace I had been wanting to wear for a long time.
End of Post for now.
This morning I got up, had breakfast, then went back to bed for several hours. I woke up for lunch and we went to eat at the DaVinci dining room. One couple at our table had been to the writing class and we talked about writing a bit. Sometime I will have to work on improving my memory for names because "A nice lady" can be used to describe many people. I am definitely not in a writing mood right now since I keep on losing my place and forgetting what I wrote before. Oh well, I suppose it is time for another nap and time to abstain from eating deserts.
When I return home I definitely plan to look up how to publish a story. I probably won't send out a story any time soon but I want to know approximate lengths, requirements etc. I could probably write some very educational books, like historical fiction(though there's plenty of that) or perhaps what I thought would be interesting is having a book with some vocabulary words used in them and definitions in the back of the book. Then it could be very "Educational" to read a fantasy/fairy tale story.
I think Novels are technically three hundred pages long but I don't know about how long a children's/young adult book is. Also a rather burning question on my mind is How much I might be paid for a story? Fifty dollars, a hundred dollars, five hundred dollars? I have no clue but you can be sure that I am going to heavily research this question when I get home. I think it would be so pleasant to go to a book store and see a book that says "By Elizabeth Von Fange" (or just plain "Elizabeth Von Fange" would do) and know that I had written it.
Any way it is currently around noon at home and 5:03 PM on the cruise ship. So it is probably time for another nap before ordering room service. I think I may play a Monopoly game before the nap though.
We boarded a bus and went on a drive through the Azores. It is beautiful country . There are many green hills and lots of cows. Before next cruise I am going to get a camera hopefully. I met a seventeen year old girl on the bus.
We went up to see two lakes that are side by side. One of them is blue and the other is green. There was an interesting story behind it about a king who had a daughter. The daughter fell in love with a shepherd boy and when the father objected they ran away together and after being chased all over the island they shepherd and the princess sat down together at the bottom of a valley and cried and their tears made the two different lakes.
MORAL: If you see somebody crying green tears BEWARE
The other story behind the lakes was that they would lead you to Atlantis.
After we got off the bus we went on an exploration of the town looking for a gift shop. After a great deal of walking we found a mall and the equivalent of a dollar store. That was a nice place to get an inexpensive souvenir from the Azores. I got a small figurene of a bride and a little stuffed animal shaped like a shark, the type that have one eye on each side of the head stuck out. I don't know the name. So I had fun and I'm looking forward to resting a great deal now.
This morning I actually woke up rather early(Nine something) and had breakfast. I got up early since the writing class was at 10:15 and I did not want to miss it. I didn't. It was very fun. A lot of people read what they wrote out loud and it was very interesting to hear what they wrote.
We are about to take our first shore excursion to the Azores and I hope that I will get to do some shopping. I am very tired right now since I did not sleep well last night. Today Frank Sinatra movies are on the television so when I come back I'll probably start watching them. Hopefully I'll remember the events of today since I doubt I'll be taking pencil and paper but I might.
I don't feel particularly well today.
Today I woke up a six in the morning, at home that is, here it was more like ten. I do not like the time change very much. Mom, Dad, and I went and ate breakfast then I came back to my room and had a nap for a long while until we got up at three and went to watch a magic act. Then I got a hot dog and ate it with Mom for lunch.
Then I went exploring and found where the teen center was. There was nobody there and a sign that said "Gone for ice cream" so I went to where the ice cream was and I met a girl named Abigail who is thirteen and very nice. Then I went up to the teen center with her and found that there is nothing in the teen center karaoke book that I could sing. But it was kind of fun watching everyone else sing.
So tomorrow(or maybe later this evening) I may go back but first I've got to take a shower.
I ate dinner with Mom and Dad in the DaVinci room. It was Pirate Night and all of the waitors wore sort of pirate outfits and at the door of the dining room two men were dressed up like pirates. With a "Yarr" they would point their pistols at whomever was going out of the restaurant and have them pose with them so that the photographer could take their picture. Afterwards when I was walking out I stood around and talked with them a bit. They were actually photographers who took turns dressing up(During Alaska cruises they were lumberjacks). I should have written this post earlier but I didn't and now I'm greatly wishing I'd written or gone to bed earlier. I made the mistake of watching a movie on the television and red lights should have gone off quite early on into watching it. Any way it was about the Civil War and about a soldier who was trying to go back to see his girl friend. Then in the end, after a long and drepressing movie where both struggle against impossible odds, they meet again and he gets shot by a Yankee officer. It was as drepressing as a Greek Tradgedy and that is the most dispicable term I can give something depressing.
I know that in a lot of cases life doesn't end too hapilly for some people but I believe that the bright, hopeful side should be looked at and... well I suppose I could go on and on but I'm really wishing I hadn't watched that movie, hopefully it will remind me that when my women's intuition and common sense tells me that something is not going to be good for me that I'll listen and not do it. I think I need to avoid desserts, I am not feeling very well. So I think I'll give myself some medicine and watch a video that I know has a happy ending and hopefully I'll be able to get to sleep on a less depressed state of mind.
I had fun today! I really do enjoy going to the writing class and talking to the teacher. She is very nice. I spent the morning sleeping then I got up and watched the television for a few minutes and then had lunch for breakfast with Mom and Dad and then I went to the writing class after watching Dad juggle. I'm about to go eat ice cream with Mom and Dad and then I might take my laptop down to tap dancing class where the instructor is and see if she's busy. I'll probably do some more writing today.
Running up several flights of steps is very aerobic.
I went to the writing lecture this afternoon and I brought my computer with me. After the lecture I showed the short story about Alizarin and Princess Violet to the lady who was doing the lecture(she is a published writer) and she liked it! She said that I might want to see if I can get something published! So now I am going to try to write another story this evening and showing it to it her tomorrow. So this evenings plans are made...
Oh, the lecture was on "Screenplays" and she had us write a sample one so without furter delay here is what I wrote.
FADE IN
INT. Forest at night
Two men enter from opposite sides of the glade.
RALTHUS
Tall man in his forties. Dressed in black
At Last, we meet again.
RICHARD
Tall handsome young man in his twenties.
Indeed, but this time the advantage is mine for I hold both the sword of Delmar and I also have the Coke machine.
RALTHUS
Arg!!! Not the Coke Machine! Now I will have to drink Pepsi! Die you fiend!!!
Attacks with sword. Richard pulls out the Sword of ADelmar and fights back. Swords clash for several minutes.
RALTHUS
You cannot win.
Richard
Sticks his sword through Ralthus
That's strange, considering I just did.
END
So there is my little bit of screenplay that I wrote during the few minutes of writing where we were supposed to write something. So now I'm going to go eat some ice cream and then type until about five when I go to a waltz class.
I did not do anything much and I did not get out of my room much. I ordered room service, ate several desserts and mainly just wasted time in my room but when you only wake up around ten or so and go to bed early it is pretty easy to waste a whole day. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have something more interesting to post about.
I went with Mom and Dad to tea at the Da Vinci restaurant, Mom was telling a lady at the table about my website and she said that she would come see it! I'll have to start mentioning my website a bit more often maybe. I had a good tea, and the really interesting thing was that we sat with both my dance partner and the lady I'd played trivia with earlier during the day. So that was exciting. So now since I still have other things to do I'm ending this post.
Okay, I am in my lovely stateroom once more. The television has a classical music channel which is veyr nice. This morning I woke up and it was perfectly dark in my stateroom because it doesn't have a window in it and assumed it was still early in the morning. It was but if it wasn't I couldn't have told the difference. I enjoy my stateroom very much.
But now to business! I didn't have breakfast until about 11:00 and after that we walked around the cruise ship a bit and I got some new jewelry(two rings, one gold with three fiery red stones shaped into a heart and another beautiful wrought silver with a green oval in it.) Then there was a trivia game going on nearby and I watched that. Did you know that Eleanor Roosevelt ate three chocolate covered garlic balls because she thought it would improve her memory?
Then I went back to the stateroom and started doing other things, such as investigating what was on TV and there was a Bugs Bunny cartoon on that I watched.
Then it was time to do something else and I was looking at the list of things I noticed this "Ballroom Dance Class". So I thought I'd go and learn ballroom dancing. I had soooo much fun! I didn't have a partner but fortunately I was able to find one unlike a few other girls who had to dance together. I don't really know why more women show up at a dance class than men... Any way I danced with a retired Army special forces man who had jumped out of airplanes. He danced very well, which is a good thing since I didn't quite get everything but we managed. I had a great time with the Merengue(Pronounced Merango) One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, One Two.... and on and on. It was pretty simple. The basic step was just stepping on my left foot, toe first, then stepping on my right foot. Then left the right and so forth for eight counts.
Then the fancy stuff being. There were clockwise turns then separations with arm circles and side steps and the "Cuddle Step". When I do get married or engaged I hope my husband won't mind dancing with me because I enjoy it. Also there was the "Big Cheesy Finish" as the instructor called it where you did quite a few spins and things. It was fairly simple to learn and in just one hour I could dance that particular dance!
I am looking forward to tomorrows class. I think my partner said that he would be there so that will be nice. Despite the fact that he must be at least sixty years old I did enjoy dancing with him very much.
Tonight is formal night so I'll be able to dress up in my beautiful blue gown and wear my Tiara. So now to save this as a draft and order room service. I think I'll have the club sandwich and a glass of milk and dessert. It is a very good thing that Mom doesn't read these posts...
Rest is quite a good way to describe the afternoon. I did some slight exploration but I primarily rested in my room. This evening we went to dinner at the DaVinci room. I wore my lovely red embroidered top and black pants. When we were in line to go into the restaurant we started talking to the couple behind us. That ended with us having dinner with them and it was a very enjoyable dinner. I didn't bring my note pad with me but I borrowed a piece of paper to write down the fact that was in the Naval Cryptographic Security something. The initials are NVCA and I think that the V stands for "Veteran". It was very interesting talking to him and his wife and they had many stories to tell.
I will be rather surprised if I am not sick tomorrow. I ate five deserts today... Very bad of me. I would have tried to be more abstemious but... I like desserts. So if I'm dreadful sick the rest of the cruise and gain twenty pounds it will be my fault. I had a fun time today and the nice part is that it is just 8:48 here and I still have several hours left to do things in. I think that I might watch a DVD. But first I thought I would write this.
Oh, I also think I'm going to write a story about this cruise ship. I think I'll call it "Romance on the Grand Princess" and it will be very fictional. I think I'll have the beautiful young heroine's name be Elizabeth. It should be a very romantic story and will probably have a proposal in it.
The time is currently 1:25 PM, the place is my stateroom. And I do mean MY stateroom. I have a whole room all to myself and I'm currently making it as messy as possible but I'll probably clean up later. I'm ruining my eyes at the moment by typing with my glasses on but I'll probably take them off later.
So, now for the events of the day in more or less chronological order. I just realized I didn't have spell check on so please ignore all miss spellings before this. It is on now so things should be spelled correctly. I could really use spell check on the notes I have been writing...
I think since I don't feel very creative I'm just going to type the notes as I wrote them for the fun of it. Let's see how messy and disordered they are. It is impossible to get the full flavor of these notes because you can't see my handwriting. It is very sloppy for lack of a better word. I am writing it letter for letter as I wrote it so you can see how I write somewhat when I am not typing or editing. On most of the other days I will make this interesting but I am too tired to bother right now.
May 2nd Note 1
After almost no sleep last night (Packing and watching Aa DVD) we left at four for the airplane. I got through security alive and with all my lugge. Surprisingly my needles were not cunfiscated. We sat in the waiting area and I startd a monopoly game. then a nearby restauraunt opened and I had a ham and cheese and egg biscuit.
May 2 Note 2
after waiting a bit more we boarded the plane. Mom has the window seat Dad the middle seat and I have the isle seat. I started reading Farmer Giles of Ham and then thought of Notes so I am currently wrtting the events so far. the plane is about to take off. Did you know that your flotation device can be used as a seat cusion? Take off!!! acceleration! My ears are going to pop I shouldn't wonder
May 2nd Note 3
the view is spectacular and me ears aren't ponding yet. bits of cloud are all around and the lights from below are visible with the hint of dawn appeariung in the east rivers towns etc. is visible. about to land in Georgia after a fourty minute flight.
th tha dawn coming over the cluds they look very beatifoil.
May 2 Not 4
Landed sately walked trhough airport and rode the train. Henry Wadsworth longfellow poked his head out of my backpack and he is very cute in a little while we will begin boarding
this plane is big!!! HWL is on my lap and being very nice. Soon I'll be on the cruise Ship!!! Took nap.
May 2 Note six
little boy nicholas cried in the plane. On Getting out we saw many princess lauggage tags. Met anice lady while waiting for our lugge. She had been on many princess cruises. If you go on enough cruise you get special benifits. like free internet. Herded like sheep to the slaughter we
May 2 Note seven
were directed to the bus fortunately we weren't headed for the slaughter. Instedd after seeing our staterooms we are heading for a buffe lunch, They're going to fatten us up first. the bus is nice
And that is where my notes leave off. In some cases I could barely decipher my writing as it was written in moving vehicles and most of the time without looking at it. So to put it into plan English.
We stayed up late packing last night and I watched one of my new DVD's(I still have one left to watch). At four or so in the morning we left for the airport and then I got through security with out having to have my bags searched. I was very thankful for that because I had left sewing needles, fingernail clippers and scissors in them and I was slightly worried. This is really fun right now, I'm typing on my stateroom desk and there is a big mirror right in front of me so I can sit here and look at myself while I type. I think I'm vain somewhat.
We had two different flights and a stopover in between them in Atlanta. We flew Delta. The flights were nice and rather short. On the last flight we had a little toddler boy named Nicholas sitting behind us. He cried and made loud noises.
In case you are wondering or have forgotten Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is my pet dragon. He is adorably cute and is currently stretched out on my stateroom bed. He is about a foot and a half long, dark emerald green with lemon yellow wings and paws. He is very sweet tempered and is enjoying the trip very much.
When we got to Florida we were directed to get our luggage and then get in line for the Princess Bus. We did so. Then it was time for boarding. That was fairly quick and not unpleasant. Then I finally got to see my room. It is very nice and pleasant and I am going to enjoy it. There is something funny though, since I'm under eighteen I couldn't really book a stateroom for myself so my stateroom is actually in my Dad's name and my Mom and I are officially in Dad and Mom's stateroom. So my stateroom key says "MR ERIC VON FANGE" on it.
We went up to the buffet and I quickly found something wrong, the ice cream is NOT free. Now I have looked forward long and hard to eating plenty of soft serve ice cream or yogart on this cruise so... I currently prefer Celebrity in that respect but I'll enjoy the other desserts. And I did enjoy them. I actually ate three this afternoon for lunch. I had a backed apple concoction and a little pink cake and a cook that had some sort of cream stuff and fruit pilled on it. I hope I shall not get too sick. Mom said the sugar from my desserts was making her feel sick so hopefully she'll get sick and I won't. Or actually I hope that neither of us will become ill. So now it is time for a nap or time to watch a DVD or something. I'll save this as a draft right now.
Well, I'm back
I doubt that most of you will realize the significance of those lines but it doesn't really matter. The main thing is I can post again and I am home!!! It is rather nice being back in my room. I am going to post all of the posts and then I may or may not write about the plane ride back. It was very enjoyable. I'll probably be bad and not write about it tonightl. I'm exhausted and rather sleepy.
"May the wind under your wings bear you to where the sun sails and the moon walks." answered Gandalf, who knew the correct reply. And I also know what is proper to say to an Eagle when you are bidding it farewell and it has just said the previous sentence. Personally I think Tolkien could write some beautiful farewell speeches...
Any way I thought my previous post was much to long to be a farewell post so I'm writing another before packing my computer away and putting it into the car so I won't have to think about it tomorrow. So Adieu until seventeen days from now, on March nineteenth to be exact though I may be tired and not get around to posting until the twentieth. Or the boat might sink and this might be the last post I ever write(I hope not...) But if you hear of the Grand Princess sinking and all passengers lost(Or all of the luggage lost) you will know that I can't post. However should the boat start sinking and I'm in my room I'll probably try to put my computer, formal dress, Polly and etc. in my suitcase or backpack while I'm putting on my life jacket.
But I do trust God to keep the ship from sinking unless that is his will. So Goodbye until I post again and may the sun shine gently upon your faces and trouble seldom enter your dwelling.(And this farewell speech I wrote:)
If I have as fun a time on the cruise ship as I had this evening I will have a very enjoyable time. Dad wanted a new camera so since today is the last day to go shopping he wanted to get it today. Mom still has a lot of stuff to do so She didn't want to go and I got to go with Daddy to the mall to get the camera. It was prom night so I got to see a lot of formal dresses since a really nice itallian restarant was near the store we were going to. I enjoy seeing lovely embroiderd or beaded or fancy material dresses or all of the above so I enjoyed that. Oh, and on the way over I saw two rainbows!
They didn't have the device-that-you-stick-into-the-camera-and-it-records-the-video-onto-it at the store so we went to get it at Best Buy. First I checked the DVD's. The I checked on Daddy. He wasn't done so I checked the DVD's again and after finding two I thought I'd get I checked on Daddy again. He still wasn't done and looked as though he wouldn't be for a bit so I checked the DVD's again and on my way back to check on Daddy again I heard something. I thought, no it can't be, then I thought, it must be a piano that automatically plays but it was actually the sales clerk of the piano keyboard department playing Beetovan really well on one of the piano keyboards. So I walked over and started talking. I can't play very well but he could and for about a half an hour I heard some bits of Bach and Beetovan and talked about pianos and other instruments and I throughoughly enjoyed myself but now I really need to start practicing the piano again since I can't play very well.
I must admit I was a bit embarrassed in the mall when I thought about the fact that it was Prom night and anybody seeing me would probably assume that I wasn't able to get a date. But I wasn't too bothered by it and didn't think about it much. Actually I have probably been out to dinner with handsome young men much more often than most other fifteen year olds(Three very nice looking older brothers do come in handy(Once Mom and Dad dropped Daniel and me off at a restaurant to get a table and the waiter asked "Table for two?". Then on the last cruise on a shore excursion I was walking with John, one of my other brothers and we were asked if we were on our honeymoon!)) and I probably have a lot more formal dresses and definitely more wedding dresses. The thrift store is a nice place to shop.
Any way I had a very enjoyable evening though I have a feeling it is not going to be enoyable in a few minutes because the word "Ironing" was said and I don't really want to iron right now, instead I want to finish this post and my packing and start watching the new DVD's I got though I might be a very good girl and save them for the cruise ship and just practice on the piano for several hours instead. For some reason whenever I am about to go on a big important trip I never can sleep the night before. I'll probably have a good nap on the plane(or is it plain or something else? Anyway it flies in the air and you have to go through bothersome airport security to get there.) Speaking of Airport security I hope they don't think that a fierce but cute looking stuffed dragon is a supiscous weapon, or that four or five different electronic devices on one person is too suspicious. Also I don't know what they'll think of folding hairbrushes either... Hopefully I'll get through alive and with all my luggage....
So now, unless I post again, I shall say goodbye for seventeen days. I am going to have a lot of fun on the cruise ship and it might be fun to meet some interesting people, though what I meant by interesting people when I wrote it would not meet with my Mom's approval. Quite frankly I don't think that she would approve if I met a relatively handsome single man. But fortunately I myself think I'm too young for romance(other than imaginary) which is very good. If I didn't......... Well It is nice to know that I have about five to ten years before anything like a romantic relationship can begin. I do firmly believe that somewhere out there the right person for me is waiting and at the right time and in the right place I'll meet him. It would be kind of fun to meet on a cruise ship though... Because then he might enjoy cruising which would be nice because I do and I plan to spend my honeymoon on a cruise ship so hopefully he won't want to go fishing in Nova Scotia(I am referring to an old movie which Daniel may know.) However then he might not live nearby and wouldn't be able to see me after the cruise(unless he moved) and take me out to dinner so that might not work. So until the time comes I will patiently wait and make up heros to court Nancealia and greatly enjoy her romances and the ones I read and wait for mine. And I hope that he is somewhat wealthy because I enjoy spending money.
So anyway I have to get up and Iron:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( right now which greatly diminishes my pleasure of the evening and when that is done I can come back to the safety and pleasure of my room and then do things that I enjoy doing or that I feel like doing.
It does seem hard to think that in just twelve hours from now I'll be in Florida. A few more hours and I'll be on the cruise ship. I am bringing a lot of note paper and I intend to write frequently so when I return I hope to have a detailed account of my trip written up so that I can remember what I did. So until May 17, Goodbye until I write again.
