I have finally beaten Daniel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it is now time to write a post with lots of Exclamation Marks:) This evening, much to my surprise, I defeated my brother Daniel in a game of Lord of the Rings Trading Cards! I haven’t counted how many times Daniel has beaten me, but it’s been more than five, maybe more than ten, games in a row. Until this evening I have never defeated Daniel. All of my losses have been recorded on my website so you might be able to figure out how many times he’s beaten me if you want to figure that out. Oh, and the first game I played Daniel this evening, he won! He overwhelmed my ring bearer on site four! However I did manage to survive all the way to site nine where I won this game. So that was good:)

I haven’t over burst with the excitement of the situation, actually I’m rather quiet. I suppose I’m being mature and reflective. Sitting back and watching the ending of a seemingly never ending saga, and wondering about what excuse I now have to buy more trading cards… The heart of man is never satisfied and that especially true of the hearts of seventeen year olds:)

So at any rate, I’m quite glad I finally defeated Daniel! Apparently I finally figured out a winning deck combination, and the interesting thing about that deck combination is that it was inspired from Daniel’s deck. After all, if Daniel’s deck has won that many times there had to be something right about it. It was a Ent/Hobbit deck so I built an Ent/Hobbit deck and I built a better one than he had! So that was quite pleasant. So now, since I’ve won against Daniel, I can move on to new challenges and start building decks for the fun of playing them and making interesting situations and testing out new possibilities and perhaps trying to get my brother Andrew to play me. After all, this game is three player and it would be really fun to play a three player game!!! However, first, I think I’m going to inform those of my family who are still in ignorance of my victory. Then, or before, I’ll probably send out emails to all of my friends that I email to tell of my victory and hopefully both of them will be glad to hear of my triumphant victory!

MORAL: It is very hard to kill an Ent… But a Balrog does a pretty good job at it. And if you don’t understand all of this it is not because your mental facilities are not all that they could be but because you might not know what I’m talking about. And I think I’d better stop because I’m beginning not to realize what I’m talking about…
