My Birthday Wishlist
Yesterday my Dad was quite surprised to learn that I had not already posted my Birthday wish list on my website. This year I thought I would try to be a little less pushy for presents than I have been in the past but… I’m still going to be posting a wish list.
First off, the theme for this year is Fantasy, Fairy Tale, Princess, and Pink. Presents in that sort of a theme would be very nice but of course, I like presents whether they match the theme or not. But that just gives you an idea of what I like.
Speaking of what I like, I like money(also gift cards, more about those later), dolls(pretty ones), movies(rated G happy ending movies), music(majestic soundtrack type or mystical celtic, basically good music to write stories by), dragons(preferably not alive), fabric(I like almost all types, but especially the sort of fabric that would look nice on a princess or as a ball gown, three yards or more for a good dress), jewelry(Tiaras are always nice), handsome princes, and some other things that I can\’t remember right now.
What I don’t like… Bugs, anything disgusting, perfume or make up, movies with unhappy or depressing endings(especially the dog dying) or that are rated worse than G, large chunks of grey rock that look as though they\’ve been picked up from beside the road(I mention this because I got one of those one year. Only an IOU of $5.00 taped to the bottom of it saved my brother from the wrath of an upset sister), and I think that might be about it. So there are plenty of options out there for anyone who wants to buy me a birthday present. And if you do give me a birthday present then THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, A THOUSAND TIMES THANK YOU.
Now just in case you would like to go beyond general guidelines in birthday present buying and you would like to buy me something that you can be sure that I would really like and probably don’t already have then I have here a list.
First of, it’s hard to go wrong with a gift card. generally they are at the front of the store and require very little effort to get. Gift cards at the following places would be greatly appreciated, and I’m listing these in order of preference: Walmart(They have a disney PRINCESS gift card, and it’s my favorite store too), Target, dacardworld.com(they have trading cards for very low prices and I want to make an order there but I need a good excuse. A gift card would be a good excuse), Mary Joes(a semi local fabric store), Amazon.com, Toys R Us, Hancock Fabrics(If they give out gift cards…), Itunes, Kmart(though I\’m not sure they give out gift cards…), KB Toys(Again, I don’t know if they give out gift cards), Borders, Barnse&Nobles, and that’s about all I can think up at present. It’s probably quite enough. I really LOVE the Disney princess Gift Card that Walmart has, it’s a mixture of two of my favorite things, princesses and shopping:)
Now we get down to very specific items I\’d like. I shall probably categorize these though the items listed will be in no particular order. First we have Dolls. Storytime Princess Cinderella $15.00 approximate price(she wears a purplish gown and can be found at Target, KBToys, Kmart, ToysRUs and so forth). Also in the Storytime Princess Collection is Majestic the horse which I haven\’t seen in stores yet but I\’ve seen it advertised and I like it quite a bit. It has the ability to be either a horse, a unicorn, or a flying horse and is colored pink.
Barbie\’s next movie(which I\’m buying the day it coms out so it wouldn\’t make a good present) has some very nice toys that go with it, I like the prince of that collection and I already have Princess Blair. Other Barbie things of interest is their latest addition to the Mini Kingdom collection, little Barbie Princesses that are Birthday themed! They are about $8.00 each. They can be found at just about any toy store with a Barbie Section. Also, there is a new line of Disney Princess dolls called Royal Nursery they are quite cute and I\’ve seen them at most toy stores. One of the princess dolls in a crib is $10.00 and a doll by itself is $5.00.
Target has section which has toys made a German company called Scheilch, or something like that. Any way this company makes really nice detailed knights on horse back and foot soldiers and archers and dragons… And bottom line is, I like them. I have the blue prince of this collection but nothing else. To my knowledge they are only at Target.
And as I don\’t want this post to be too long I think I\’ll stop here. I think I\’ve given out plenty of choices and remember, you can never go wrong with cash:)
Oh, and my birthday is on September 26th and I will be turning 18 years old. And did I mention that I really like getting presents?
