I was just writing on a new story! That is quite exciting as it\’s probably been at least a month since I\’ve done any serious writing. My fingers don\’t quite type so well as they used to so I need to practice my typing.

I was playing with my new expansion pack for The Sims 2 and I wanted to create a business that sold robots. Naturally I decided to create a special household to run the robot shop and there was an outfit I\’d downloaded that I thought would be perfect to dress the members of the household. It was a very star wars/military looking outfit so I did an all female group called R-Force to build the robots and run the shop. They are all wearing the exact same outfit but they all have different hair styles and looks to them. And of course eight different names. When I built their base the story line for them started forming in my head and it got further developed as I got each of them a job in addition to their robot building/selling work.

The story goes something like this, a bunch of experts or very talented young women who aren\’t quite experts yet have been assigned to create the ultimate robot. THis robot is supposed to be able to give expert medical treatment, prepare delicious foods, pilot space ships, fight with expert precision in close combat, do maintenance work, and a whole lot of other things. However, the budget for the project is quite small to at the suggestion of one of the members of R-Force they are running a gift shop in their base\’s lobby selling small toy robots and some of their early prototypes perfected into moderately good specialized working models.

This was all, of course, inspired by the Robot Crafting table in the expansion pack that lets you build toy robots, cleaning robots, hydro robots(puts out fires and waters the flowers), munchi robots(serves food), attack robots(escorts off premiss unwanted visitors), and I think I forgetting one or two. However in that game the ultimate robot is Servo though he doesn\’t pilot space ships. Anyway… I\’m glad I got an idea for a new story. it could be interesting. So far I have settings and characters but not a whole lot of plot. However, with good enough characters and setting, a plot should be coming forth as soon as I really work on but as it is la and I need to go to sleep I think I\’ll work on that tomorrow. Hopefully I will. I\’m notorious for starting stories one day and not working on them the next. Anyway, bedtime:)
