Research, Dress, and a Renaissance Faire

I am going to an Elizabethan Renaissance Faire. Of course that means a new dress, and in my case, more than one. I am currently making an Elizabethan court dress. I have been doing tons of research on Renaissance faires and on Elizabethan dresses. The best of silks, satins, and velvets were used on these dresses. So I was thinking about going to Walmart and hoping that they had something nice on sale when I suddenly realized that I have a HUGE collection of the finest silks, satins, and velvets which all happen to made up into dresses but never the less have a great deal of yardage in them. I go to the thrift store with the exact intention of buying fabric so of course I would have some. And I have one that without much(if any) alteration will work great for the bodice part of the dress. Last night I made an outer skirt that looks very nice and I already had a hoop skirt. Plus I have some great white sleeves in another dress that I made. So my list of things I need is dropping. I just need a good under skirt but I am thinking of a material for that, and I all ready have it!!!
