My hair was cut today

I don’t know whether or not I’ve mentioned it before on here but I am currently really wanting my hair to grow down to my waist. It currently is about mid back length, when wet. Being that it is inclined to grow slowly getting it cut(or “trimmed” as Mom says) is usually a traumatic experience, except for when it isn’t. Today was one of the days when it was grand fun!!! Primarily because our hair stylist seemed to be bored and she curled my hair! Oh, it looked sooooo gorgeous when she was done with it… I went straight home and got into a costume and pulled out my camera… Actually I pulled out my still camera in the hair salon and took several pictures and then when I got home I pulled out my video camera. Here are three pictures.

Since I had no script and using my computer to write one had a high probability of messing up my hair I just filmed with the camera. I was thinking of make a silent black and white film and putting in the words and figuring out the plot later but… That didn’t show up my hair well enough… So instead I made a “Foreign Film” with a voice over since I had recorded all of my footage without sound. If you can figure out what is going on in the movie then I congratulate you, I have no idea myself…

Watch Original Movie

However despite the fact that I don’t really know what’s happening I’m going to try and translate the language and put captions in the movie so that it might possibly make more sense. Possibly…

Watch Movie with Captions

Actually it does seem to make sense now. Perhaps at some future point I’ll put in some captions that will make it not make sense unless you are studying deeply the underlying symbolism… :)

I really, really, enjoyed my hair being so curly and pretty today. I’ll probably wear it like that for my wedding maybe. That, however, is an event in the far distant future and I highly doubt I’ve met the groom yet… However I’m very sure that God has a special somebody out their for me and I’ll just wait for him.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Muppet Show OVERLOAD!!! Or, Episode One of the Fluppet Show!

Well, after watching so much of the Muppet Show over the past few days I suddenly got the strange desire to make something like it. This happened to me once before after I watched a Ballet, I wanted to make a ballet. I think I actually might be better at making a Muppet Show than making a Ballet…

Now the Muppet show is much better than what I made today probably. However I hope you’ll be amused at least by my nonsense. So now for The Fluppet Show!!!

As I did not make a movie on Thursday I made one today

And this one is quite good in my opinion:) I took a great deal of care with my shots and so forth. However I think that instead of typing more now I’ll let the movie speak for itself.

Tonight after the vigorous labors of writing and sewing I made a musical

Today was rather busy and productive. If you observe the previous post you will the story I wrote today. Most of today was spent sewing on a beautiful gown which I finished in time to make a movie with it. I wanted to do a musical and I made up the lyrics and I sung them in front of the camera with the intention of adding instrumentals in the back ground. Unfortunately for the music just as filming ceased I started feeling really sick and I did not feel like adding the instrumentals. So the musical pretty much just has singing without accompaniment. I hope you enjoy it though.

Here is a picture of the dress I made today. In my opinion it’s a very nice dress especially when you take into consideration the fact that the total cost of the materials was about $5.00:) It took a couple of hours to make though.

Saturday was a very fun today and I’ve just made a stop action something

On Saturday I went shopping with Laura Beth. I had a grand time! We went to Target, Toys R Us, McDonalds, The Mall, and Walmart. Then we came home and after a while and two more guests arrived we had supper and Daniel brought down some fireworks and we shot those off. It was a very fun day and well worth writing about but I had a sugary something yesterday and I am rather out of it today. So writing is not particularly what I feel like doing now.

I was somewhat surprised at Andrew’s opinion of my stop action movie GUNGANMAN when he said it looked like the confusing sort of stop action movie that people normally do on their first attempt. I personally disagree with him and think that the movie I made today is much more worthy of a low opinion. So without further ado, here it is! Oh, and on toy packaging when they say, “Doll does not stand alone” they mean it. Just ignore the finger tips when you see them.

I got a strange desire to make a Pirate Movie Trailer a couple of days ago

As I even bought a Pirate Cutlass at a dollar store in order to prepare for this event this evening I thought I’d just make something out of the ideas I’d had. As I half expected, it wasn’t half as impressive as I thought, and as I’ve rather disappointedly noticed, it isn’t very impressive but… Perhaps it’s better than nothing. So here you are, a movie trailer for a movie that probably won’t ever be made.

Watch Teaser

One of the interesting things about making this was that when I started filming I found that I had less than five minutes left on my camera’s tape. That condensed things a lot! I ended up filming only about a minute and a half of footage and I used just about all of it. If you observed me seeming to run around in circles it is because when filming I first ran away from the camera and then I had to run back towards the camera in order to turn it off so that I wouldn’t waste tape. It’s interesting what you can do in the editing process… Oh, and did you like the Widescreen Format?
