You are supposed to cooperate!!!

The reason for that emphatic title is because the pictures in the previous post were not showing up and I was rather upset since I want people to know what I was talking about. By the time most people read this they will probably see pictures although at the time I am writing this their is only a confused line of HTML where the picture ought to be. Kung-log(my Blog program) has an fault in it which makes pictures not show up and changes HTML into non HTML and my brother Daniel doesn’t want to fix the problem around 10:30 at night. Other than that Kung-Log(Why would somebody name it that?) is very fun. I type something and hit post, Then I can go back and edit what I have done, or save drafts, or just enjoy being lazy and never figuring out the other features it has to offer. Someday I am really going to have to learn Mac talk, Daniel can jabber that jargon all day but I am still having trouble remembering which is bigger a Megabyte or a Kilobyte or Mb, Kb is and where did the Byte go and who had a mouth so big that it could fit ten thousand bites into it. I know it would take me a while to eat ten thousand bites. Of course it would depend on what I was eating. I really like chocolate cake, but it makes me sick and grouchy when I eat. Although I think Algebra is worse. Now how did I get onto the subject of Algebra when I was talking about my posting program?

What happens when a fourteen-year old girl has a camera and a sewing machine.

I made that dress!! I was so excited when I looked into the mirror and I saw that what I made really did look nice ! I have been “sewing” for a long time and it was only in the past few months that I began to use patterns, and not make a whole bunch of mistakes. Before I used to sew the sleeves in wrong, not hem everything… In short, if there is a mistake to make while sewing I have made it. Most of the time what I sew is more humorous than not. But I think that the main way to learn while sewing is to sew and not worry about the mistakes. Or I guess that is the best way if you haunt the dollar a yard section of walmart and get lace and silks and lots of other lovely materials. I have yards of material, and a whole hoard of patterns, my next project will probably be a colonial ball gown. I got some beautiful maroon colored “Silk”(I have no idea what the proper name for it is, so I call it silk.) I did a colonial dress before, I made it with a pink sheet! I did all right on it, but I forgot to fit the top so I ended up with something that didn’t really fit me. all though it looks fairly nice on a hanger. But since I made it out of a two dollar pink sheet from a thrift store it really didn’t matter. I had fun making it and I will probably not photograph myself in it unless I get a hoard of Emails or comments from my friends asking me to do so. This will also tell me that you read my website:) Any way this dress was very fun. I thought about what materials I would use last night, and then today I spent a few hours and made the dress from start to finish without any help! Net cost for this dress was probably about ten dollars, not including the jewelry which was probably another five, I don’t buy expensive pearls… I used five yards of blue “Silk” and about two yards(or maybe one and a half) of the lace. Then some elastic(which I borrowed from my Mom.) and a zipper(also borrowed from my Mom although I am going to start buying my own soon.)
I have a fun time when ever I go to walmart, and I really enjoy the cutting ladies faces. Last time I was there I said that I wanted the whole bolt of fabric, the lady began to look at me rather strangely after she said there was twelve and a half yards on it and I said “Good, I will probably be able to make two things!” She was used to people who bought something when they had a particular dress in mind. All though the material I bought didn’t seem to surprise her half as much as the trim I selected and told her I wanted half a yard of it. She asked me whether that would be enough to trim what I was making and I said that I was going to use it for a neckless! It really is very pretty. It has little crystals and it is beaded and the color will match perfectly the dress I am going to make.

And there are only about six pictures of this dress to look at. I didn’t feel like posing for a long time.

What happens when a fourteen-year-old gets in front of a camera…

I got my hair cut today, and the trauma of losing so much of my hair required something to refresh me. So I got out my camera and an evening dress, one of my swords, and my jewelry… And took several minutes of footage which I made into still frames. Click the continue button to see the rest of my pictures.

Ichat’s new features

Are very fun. Daniel(Yes, I am mentioning him again and it is late at night and I am posting and…) Not to repeat myself Ichat’s new features are very fun. A new beta version came out that can let you “Video conference” and do stuff like that. Daniel had a video camera hooked up to his laptop and he made a lot of faces for my enjoyment when it got hooked up. Daniel can make some very interestingly funny faces. We can talk(with out video) Or both of us could talk and see each other(If my video camera would cooperate and hook up correctly) Or we can just type like normal users.

It is very fun.

P.S. The main part of this was written around 10:30 but I forgot to post it then. I just remembered so I am now posting it.

Typing…

Every once in a while a strange desire to type comes upon me. It mainly seems to come when I have several other things that I ought to be doing and instead I just feel like typing. I suppose I ought to be writing something sensible but it has been a while since I did a long rambling post so I think I will just ramble on like a still pond flowing into might brook with the green sky over head and lovely blue trees. Actually I hope to make more sense than that.

I have been video editing recently. And made a piece of idiotic nonsense. It was idiotic because the filmed stuff I had to work with was idiotic, the video editing was fine though. I am beginning to enjoy Final Cut Express. It takes a bit of getting used to, and I still don’t know all of the controls but I am getting better at it.

The thing I video edited was a commercial for the “Rocket Toothbrush” (matches not included(that was my line:)) What started it was Andrew who came out into the living and proceeded to say something about the “Rocket Toothbrush” in Ingrish. A few more minutes and I had my camera down and I filmed Andrew in several different places and posisiton saying “Use the Rocket Toothbrush” then Daniel sat in a chair and said in a very serious tone some other lines and when it was all put together(after my filming session, and two hours of video editing(I am still learning how to use final cut express)) I got something like this, and remember, this is all spoken in Ingrish and was meant to be ridiculous.

Daniel”You have bad teeth?”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”
Daniel”Hot new product”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”
Daniel”It clean like no other”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”
Daniel”Simplicity with Use, Action with cleaning”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”
Daniel”For healthy life, why use inferior product?”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”
Daniel”Who need be cool man?”
Me(Elizabeth)(this is spoken very fast while I am rolling my eyes very fast for dramatic effect)”Can cause burning pain in mouth. Consult Physician before using. Matches not included”
Andrew”Use the Rocket Toothbrush”

And the “William Tell Overture” is playing during the entire commercial. The music selection is also known as the Lone Ranger theme song.

Someday I will have to figure out how to put videos on my website, but right now I need to figure out my Algebra…

It is no longer Friday the Thirteenth

I thought I would make a post about it. And nothing much unlucky happened yesterday. Which shows that in a race between a rock and a pig, don’t varnish your clams.

Do you know what today is???

It’s Friday the 13th! So Happy Friday the 13th and try not to walk under any ladders, or drop your spoon, or break a mirror or…

Macs Good, Algebra Bad. Macs Good, Algebra Bad…

Ohhh, it’s SAFARI!!! A new web-browser is very nice occasionally. Normally I have at least twelve or so different web-pages at one time, my stocks, bank account, shop pages, auctions, work pages… Any way when you play neopets.com really hard and are trying for the ultimate riches bank account of $5,000,000 neopoints you have to have a lot of different pages open. Then occasionally I go to other web-pages and look at them. So Safari is going to be nice. It has the “Open page in new window” feature and the “Open page in new TAB” feature, which means that you can categorize everything and it doesn’t get confusing. For example I have a list of games on neopets that I want to play. Instead of opening all twelve pages and have them mixed in with all of the other pages I have open I can open up one window and have all of the diferent games as tabs. Same thing with everthing else, If I am looking at the Dollmarket website and figuring out what I would order if I was going to order everything I can have all of the doll market pages in one window and my neopets stuff in two others. It is wonderful!!!

And to continue about why Macs are really nice and Eowyn is the nicest Ibook any one could have I shall talk about Itunes. Eowyns main fault is not having very much memory. It seems as if every time I try to start a new video editing project I have to delete almost all of my hard drive. That can get a bit upsetting after a while… I have deleted nearly all of my Itunes files time after time and that can get bothersome. So I was very glad when the new Itunes version came out with Sharing abilities. I didn’t realize what it meant before, but then I learned one day…
I was sitting at my computer and I was looking at my small selection of music when I noticed a folder that hadn’t been there before “Daniel Von Fange’s Music”. “What is that?” I wondered so I selected the file and found that it was ALL OF MY BROTHERS MUSIC!!! All 998 songs and 3.3 days worth of music. I was really happy!!! Not only would I have a lot of music but I wouldn’t have to have it using my computers space. So I conclude Macs good, Algebra bad, Macs good, Algebra Bad…
And if you haven’t read “Animal Farm” you won’t understand that last remark…

Joke.

A green little chemist
on a green little day
mixed some green chemicals
in a green little way.

The green little grass
now tenderly will wave
over the green little chemists
green little grave.

Algebra…

I still do not like Algebra. But it does get done. My Mom told me that if I got halfway done she would take me to Media Play and go shopping there. That was Tuesday and I tried to finish that day, then I tried to finish Wednesday and Finally on Thursday I finished workbook 4. I still had workbook five to do, fortunately it was easy and I was able to finish it. Despite a bad headache I got to go shopping and I got some new videos/DVDs to watch. I have been enjoying them. The main reason I haven’t posted for a while is because all of my energy(or almost all of it) was used in doing Algebra and I still haven’t recovered from the Factoring Xs headache. x2 + 5x + 6 factors to (x + 2)(x + 3). But then when you have several xsquared and plenty of - and + to deal with, and a huge amount of things to take into consideration…. I was very glad(or actually I was to tired and exhausted to be glad) that workbook four is now over. I have great dread of Monday and work book six.

And on the lighter side “Apathy is the main problem in the world, but who cares?” That joke was submitted by my cousin though its origin probably came from someplace else. I don’t particularly feel like being funny or creative today. Oh well, staying up until midnight watch a new DVD can be hazardous to your health, that ought to be written on DVD cases just the same as “This may be a fire Hazard” is written on logs for fire places that you can buy.
