Good English…
I have been playing neopets(Type in “Neopets” in the search box to the right) a lot recently and have managed to do a lot on it as well as wasting a lot of time in a very fun way. But I never really knew how important good English was until today. The average neopian writes like this “u r kwel” or “i 8 a sandwic” most of the time being very unintelligible. Most neopians have a shop in which they sell things and in there shop description they have something like “buy from me” only it is written in the gibberish that I am not going to repeat any more. So my shop description is more like,
“Here you can find various items that I have picked up during my travels. I always check my item prices with the shop wizard. They should be the lowest but if the aren’t neomail me and I will lower them.”
Playing neopets will explain the reference to the shop wizard, which is a place you go to search for the items you wan to buy and it will bring up a list of the shops who have the item you want and who has the lowest price.
Today I was on neopets and I saw “(username) has requested to be your neofriend”. I was rather surprised about this since I had never heard of the person before but I accepted their request to be neofriends knowing that I could always delete them from my list of friends if I wanted too. But I sent a neomail and asked where they had found my user name and got back this reply,
” I first found your username in the Shop wizard ( I was looking for a Chocolate Graarl or something like that) and I was surprised by the fact that you actually used English that people could understand. So I looked up your profile and you seemed like a nice person. ”
So good English is important and if you can’t understand any of this I would suggest that you play neopets and ask to be neofriends with nancealia after you have made an account by clicking on the link that is in my post about neopets and if you make an account you will make me very happy because I will get a very good prize for referring you and that will make me very happy.
