You are taking a journey into Africa back in the 1900’s. You have been informed by your guide that you will be approaching an interesting fork in the road soon. On one road the natives will always tell the truth and on the other road the natives will always lie, they will eat you too. Now before your guide can tell you anything more you are attacked by tigers who immediately kill your guide. Since you can run very fast you run up the road with the tigers chasing you as fast as possible. At the fork in the road you see a man, you don’t know whether he is from the cannibal village or the safe village and you don’t know which road to take. You have time to ask one question and you don’t know whether he will lie or tell you the truth. What question should you ask him? But whatever you do don’t ask him “What have I got in my pocket?”
Now after that interesting bit of logic puzzle I can get down to real news. Since I last posted I have sewed three new dresses and a cloak, I learned how to knit, I went to a friends house and had a wonderful time, I started on my 9th grade language course which needs to be done before September is over, and I learned about Quantum weirdness and SomebodywhosnamestartswithS’s cat. And I have been to lazy and busy playing neopets to post. But now I shall post! So have you figured out the correct question to ask the native yet? If not I shall tell you the answer. Only I shall write it in a coded way and if you can decode it then you will probably have figured the answer out before hand.
Ichwaggey Yadreggoa Odaggey Yapyeggou Ivlaggey Yaneggo?
Unfortunately I think that it is very obvious what the answer is with the question mark where it is. But perhaps some of the other coding might puzzle you. To give you a large hint here is the same question coded a bit differently,
?Nogge Yalvi Uoggey Yado Daogger Yawhci
My brother Daniel may be amused at this, I hope… Any way I am going to try and take a picture of my new outfits soon, and the rest of my swords:) (I learned how to do smilies too!
Parenthesis are fun
