Happy Birthday To ME!!!

Today is my birthday, and I am now FIFTEEN!!! Isn’t that exciting? I have been “officially” fifteen for only a few hours as I was born around eight in the evening. I shall now describe how the day went.

I woke up feeling slighty sick and very sleepy because I hadn’t slept well, but so much for that. I got up, ate breakfast, then it was off on a shopping trip!!! I love going shopping, and today it was especially fun as I had a birthday and I didn’t have to pay for everything.

My Mom and I set out around 9:something and got to our first shop around 10:something as it was a ways away. Now this shop is a thrift store and is very delightful, especially to the sewing mind. I got several sheets, and a very attractive Pink dress that looks like it was from the Titanic Era and a whole bunch of other things.

after two hours there(I was done in about half that time but my Mom had a lot of things to try on and look at.) we drove to Toys R Us where despite my fifteen years I still enjoy going. And I had fun for there I discovered “THE DOLLHOUSE” or my Mom really discovered it. Be that as it may it is a very beautiful house. It is four rooms, and the really fun part is that each room is separate, it can detach so you can stack them and connect them. Plus there are interchangeable walls an wall paper, lots of furniture and so forth. And there are lights that light up and sound effects!!! It is a beautiful doll house and I am going to enjoy it very much.

After that we went to the mall where we had lunch at the food court and I had a piece of pizza(it was HUGE) and a very delicious salad. I just wish that some of the restaurants we go to had salads like it. Then we planned on walking to KB toys but we ended up walking into a Claires store. It had jewelry in it, and for some reason I have a great weakness for jewelry and since they had no lack of it and I didn’t have a tiara and they had one and it was my birthday I got a Tiara, a neckless, a pair of earrings, and a hair clip. That was very enjoyable. Then we walked over to KB toys and managed to get there without my spending any more money. But once there… I still didn’t spend any money because it was my birthday and Mom bought the beautiful doll that was on sale. I love going shopping on my birthday and I can hardly wait until I am sixteen. Then we walked around the mall a bit more, but we didn’t buy anything, and I was throughly tired. We did ride the escalators, I really enjoy riding escalators, and that was very fun.

After we left the mall we went to Sams Club. In case you don’t know what kind of a store Sams Club is it is a large store that has groceries, food, DVD’s(very important in my opinion), clothes, books, about everything else, and Keyboards. And why would I mention a Keyboards(piano type not computer type) unless I got one? Which I did. It is very nice and came with a stand, microphone, built in lessons, 100 prerecorded songs, 255 different tones, and the ability to hook up to my computer so that I can start my piano lessons again. It is very nice but still a bit expensive. I had all ready gotten quite a few birthday presents so it was past that limit. However piano lessons would be considered as part of school so half of the keyboard was covered as a school expense and the other half was supposed to be paid for by me. However I am not going to as you shall find out.

By the time we were done with Sams we were exhausted, or at least I was. I was very eager to get home because during my absence my other birthday present had arrived, a very special birthday present that I was looking forward to. And of course it was JEWELRY!!! Last Saturday night my Dad and I had been looking at website thaigem which has a lot of jewelry and gemstones at very affordable prices. Of course I got some and I have been watching its progress since it shipped. It got there while we were gone and due to the invention of cellphones I knew it was at home. There fore I was very eager to see my new jewelry especially since I had gotten a ring size seven and I didn’t know whether it would fit or not. But it did!!! It is beautiful. So were my two bracelets, and my two new earings, and my two pendants. In fact one of my pendants was so beautiful(in my Moms opinion) that she kept holding it up and looking at it and asking me whether I really really liked it and before long we did a swap where Mom got the pendant and I didn’t have to pay for half of the keyboard. I am very happy because although I liked the pendant I was happy with not having to pay for half of the keyboard and I plan to spend that money on buying an addition for my doll house. It has separate rooms that you can buy to add on to it.

After getting all of that settled, I began to figure out how to run my keyboard, it was fairly easy all though I forgot to read the instruction manual. Then I began on the doll house. The detail of the rooms were so amazing that I have had a great deal of fun, food for the refridgerator, a little teddy bear on the bed, little books, and a lot of surprises. I am going to enjoy the doll house for a long time. After getting it assembled and playing on my piano I had a nap. Then woke up and we had supper and watched a video.

Then after some talk I went up stairs and played with my piano. It has a microphone and songs programed into
it. I can’t sing very well but for nearly an hour I just sat there and ran through the songs(it came with a little book with the lyrics). I finally found out the words for “Danny Boy” and “Greensleeves”. I am going to enjoy that little keyboard.

As is generally known I have three older brothers, Daniel, John, and Andrew. And you would think that three older brothers would mean at least three more presents but I have strong doubts of it. John wasn’t home so he still may give me something. Daniel seemed to indicate that he wasn’t but all of his tech support kind of made that immaterial. All though I still would have liked a twenty dollar bill even if he didn’t want to go shopping. That leaves Andrew, Daniel says that there are three ways of doing things, the right way, the wrong way, and Andrew’s way. I don’t really know about the truth of that statement but Andrew does do things a bit differently than most people. And when it comes to birthday and Christmas presents… Well, I shall say no more because I don’t think he ever looks at my website and I don’t think it would do much good. But he did give me a present. After a great deal of hints he finally gave me a dime from his large collection of loose change. More hints produced a quarter. After a bit more talk he finally told me that if I could find 5 coins of the same value and year I could keep them. Of course I tried to find five quarters and my search was successful. I was about to leave but I still was hopping for more, so my patient brother told me that when I arranged all of the coins by year I could have the ones that had the same year that there was more of. That doesn’t make sense but I found out that he had more 2002 coins than any other year so I got to keep them. I managed to get $2.87 out of all that work. If you ever get board I advise taking a large handful of loose change and sorting them out by year.

To surmise this lengthy work of literature(I hope I used all of those words correctly) I will say that I had a very happy birthday I am looking forward to 266 days from now when I will become sixteen!!! (My parents tell me that they are going to rent a limousine for my birthday, won’t that be exciting?(personally I would rather go on a cruise but I will enjoy riding in a limousine)) However Christmas is next. Daniel likes Ink pens, John, it depends, probably either a DVD or a dog or pistol related something(He has a birthday coming up). Andrew, probably car related, that or I could have him go through my loose change collection, but I don’t think he’d do it. I am still hoping that John might give me a birthday present but it doesn’t seem to be very likely. But if you can increase success by lowering expectations can you not also increase suspense by hoping for one thing and expecting another? I meant for that to sound impressive and interesting and if it didn’t what could I expect? Any way I think I had better stop now, I am begging to post nonsense. Or actually I have posted it many times before but…

Ugg, Ouch, and Oh Bother

Well, some how I have managed to hurt my neck, I suppose that something had to happen on my last day as a fourteen year old. Any way I can’t turn it to the left with out it hurting it and I currently have a freezing cold ice pack on. Since I really shouldn’t be typing right now I think I will stop. I am hoping that it feels better shortly. Or at least when I go shopping Friday.

School Update

I have done a few post on school lately and I think you would enjoy knowing that I have finished 9th grade and started 10th. I hope to finish 10th grade by Christmas(not very likely but still a goal) then start 11th grade and get that done by September when I will start 12th grade and then be forever done with school because I am not going to college. Unless something REALLY strange happens. Currently I am doing world history right now, it is a video course and there fore is easy because all I have to do is sit in front of a video monitor(something I do well) and watch it and since there is no written work to do I don’t have to pay much attention to it. I just wish that the rest of my school would be as easy.

I have tried a few subjects that didn’t seem to work so I’ll use this one

I am very tired today, I woke up tired and that probably set my pace for the day. However despite the fact that I have been feeling tired and sick I have actually gotten a great deal of work done lately, probably because I have been using Eowyn a lot less. I have been cleaning my room lately and since I have not throughly cleaned my room in several years and have not vacuumed very frequently(in fact almost never) and I am not a very neat person my room was rather a mess. The amount of things that were stuffed under my bed and in my closet and everywhere was rather surprising. Under my bed I found the Stylus for my Plam(It has been lost for a few months) My sword collection(no surprise because I knew it was under there) a pair of my Mom’s shoes(I have no idea how they got there) and about four pairs of my own shoes and a whole bunch of books, magazines and etc. I won’t go into what was in my closet or around my night stand and so forth. I have done a lot of reorganizing(I actually spelled that word right the first time!) and I still have a lot left to do. I collect things and I don’t get rid of things and since I like to spend money my room is very full, so I am currently making room for the big shopping trip on my birthday(which I am greatly looking forward to). Normally when I buy something I say that I can always “Make room” for it, I normally do. How ever I normally do it by pilling things all over the place. So it was high time to clean up.

As well as cleaning I did some work out in my Dad’s shop. I get paid for it and since I have a shopping trip scheduled I felt I ought to do some more work. Normally a half hour is enough to tire me(I am very lazy) but I usually(when I work, which isn’t often) do at least an hour. Today I put in nearly two hours and a half which is a lot of work for me to do in one day, especially since I was tired and wasn’t feeling well and since working out in the shop is very physically challenging and aerobic. I think I have posted about the shop before (search for “Mordor”) fortunately it isn’t quite so hot out there as it used to be and is a little less undesirable to work in. But I still don’t like working despite the fact that I enjoy spending nearly everything I earn and I need to save up for a new hardrive for Eowyn. I want her to be working again. Sometimes it seems to be rather ridiculous to refer to my laptop as “her” and “she” but “it” sounds degrading when referring to my lovely Ibook and since her name is Eowyn “She” does very well. And fortunately I am at the age where being a little different does and doesn’t matter and where sense and coherence can show up occasionally but usually are absent. Especially while I am typing a post for my website and I am typing what ever comes into my head and what I think of at the beginning of a sentence is much different than what I am thinking at the end of a sentence.

And as if this post wasn’t long enough all ready, I have been listening(Unabridged audio recording) to “Northanger Abbey” and I have been greatly enjoying it!!! It is very amusing and Jane Austin(The authoress) was a very great writer. Often Catherine reminds me a little of myself, all though I have not been fortunate enough to meet a Mr. Tilney(Or Darcy, Or even an Edward(Though I don’t think I’d like him)) Although I have been fortunate enough not to meet a Mr. Thorpe. I would find him excessively boring and wearisome. A few of my friends faintly remind me of Isabelle, but not many and only faintly. I have never read “Udolpho” but I may have to to find out whether Latina’s skeleton really is behind the black veil. But right now I am going to post this and see what sort of nonsense I have concocted this time. And how long it is.

Incidentally…

It is only four days until my birthday!!!

Ingrish or what I did this evening.

My brothers, Daniel and Andrew, decided that they wanted to do a movie. It is going to be computer animated and will give them a good chance to work on some things, especially Ingrish. All of the lines will be in this strange language. I have mastered Pig Latin(Andpay Ypetay Itpay) and I can speak Egg Talk(Feggairleggy Flegguently) But I still don’t get Ingrish. Fortunately my brother Daniel isn’t to bad at it and he was the one writting the script, or actually he was dictating it and I was typing it, with my own additions, Madly! I am going to voice the Transport Piolet or TP as she is called in the script. I am going to post it below, Just so you know X is the guy in charge and Z is his side kick who likes danger. I don’t know whether they will be renamed, probably. LP is little Pirate, and BP is big pirate.

Oh! There is a new version of Kung-log

Whenever something is going wrong in Kung-log(my posting program) it generally means that there is a new version and the old one is obsolete. So lets see how this one does pictures. Unfortunately it doesn’t upload pictures either, which means that Daniel will have to do something about it as soon as he gets home.

Triumph!!!

I wanted to do a picture with text and with my usual logic I began to try and figure how to do it when Eowyn wouldn’t cooperate. Of course I have Arwen and Arwen has photoshop but she isn’t hooked up to the internet or network right now. So I went downstairs into my brother Andrew’s room(he was absent) and used his computer which has photoshop and internet, I downloaded a picture from my website and fixed it up in photoshop and emailed it over to me, And now I am realizing that I forgot to save it in Jpeg formate and I can’t get it onto my computer. For every clever idea there is an idiotic flaw. How ever I am about to run down stairs again and fix it and soon it will probably be on my computer.

Not quite working yet.

Currently I don’t have anything up at my shop because 1. I don’t have a photo editing software(or I guess I do, Imovie only it is not working right now.) 2. My brother Daniel is not home to find the Photoshop CD 3. Pictures are not uploading and 4. I think that I am going to take a break and knit. How ever before I go, “Knock Knock” “Who’s there” “Bedouin” “Bedouin who” “Bedouin or you’ll miss the school bus.” In case you didn’t get it “Bedouin” “Better run”. Not too similar but knock knock jokes are not my specialty.

Cafepress.com

I just opened an online shop on Cafepress.com. You can design things like T shirts and hand bags and coffe mugs and teddy bears and sell them. And it is free!!! It should be at least as interesting as playing neopets.com all of the time. Here is the link to my shop. I am hoping that somebody buys something but it is rather doubtful. But I will have fun designing things and who knows, I might make something so interesting that I might buy it myself…

Any way, just six days until my birthday!!! I will be fifteen and since I have mentioned my birthday for the last couple of post and I am hoping that my brother Daniel will take notice and remember that I greatly enjoy birthday presents. And yes, I am not good at subtle hints.
