Subjects to excess…
I don’t know why I chose that title, I guess it is because I want to write about ten things and I also have just made a discovery which will enable me to have an about me post. (Clout conversation is going on about me, posting in the living room is not too good of an idea if you want to post in silence.) I am currently not posting fast enough. Now where was I anyway? Oh yes, subjects an an about me section. All I have to do is make an “About me” post(which I will do after this post is over) then Daniel will be very nice and put a link on my website.
Today a very interesting thing happened. I walked into four different stores and didn’t buy a thing. And that is a very strange thing considering the fact that (I have had another long pause and conversation, I wonder just how long this post will take?) one store sold DVD’s, two stores sold dolls and etc, and one was the biggest fabric store I have seen. It had some of the most beautiful fabrics I have ever seen, and the ugliest prices. I mean even if something is the most gorgeous embroidered fabric I have ever seen and 60″ wide I still think that $20.00 is too much. Oh well, I’ll probably be back anyway. Most of the fabric was in the 5-10 range, which is till expensive to my dollar a yard thoughts.
Next subject is Project Gutenberg an amazing website. They have many books, older classic books, on there. It is very nice because you can search for an author or a book, then find it. Daniel used his amazing brains and put the books in Text edit(this is a Mac thing, if you don’t have a Mac I am very sorry for you. You ought to get one so you can do this.) and had the computer read it. It’s saves a lot of money on Books on cassette, and I enjoy listening to a book while playing Neopets. I have probably made 50,000 neopoints while listening to books and that is no small sum to earn in just two books. I heartily recommend books authored by G.A.Henty because you can say that you are doing school while playing. They are historical fiction from a military point of view and if you ever want to find out how the British think of the American revolution I would advise you to read “True to the Old Flag”. It was very interesting as I had never read the account of the war from a British point of view. Plus you get to find out what to and not to do in case you have indians prowling through the woods looking for you.
I had several other things to write but I think that since I have forgotten what they were I’ll wait and write about them later.
