Ehtay Ibrarylay(Translated: The Library)

I think it would be interesting to have an entire post written in nothing but Pig Latin. Any way I went to the Library today and I did check out two Nancy Drew books. My mother was reminiscing about some of the books that she had read when she was younger I ended up getting a Trixie something book too. I also got two books on costumes and sewing, several audio books: Around the World in Eighty days by Jules Verne, The Magicans Nephew by C.S.Lewis, Mary Popins by… Ug I forgot her name, and maybe some more that I don’t remember. Also I got the “Mikado” by Gilbert and Sullivan. It is a video performance and was fascinating. I am glad my name isn’t Yum Yum though and as for the great Pooh bah and Lord High Executioner, I wouldn’t want to be them either. So I had a very enjoyable time and will probably enjoy the things I got there.

Something I did, almost did, and what I’ve done about it.

Now I hope that is a nice, confusing title and will be a very interesting one. Staying up until 2:00 A.M. is very interesting, especially when you meant to start going to bed earlier and wake up earlier. Now to get to my subject before more than five sentences have passed I shall say what I did, I bought the Extended Edition of “The Two Towers”. What I almost did was not tell anybody I had it and just post about it on my website and see if John or Andrew ever noticed. And what I’ve done about it is… Um… (Writers Block)Ah… Hmm… (More Writers block)… is… is… is… Actually I don’t think I’ve done anything about it. All three of my brothers now know that I have it because I told them. And I must say that it looks very impressive on my parents plasma screen. REALLY impressive. I just wish we had a surround sound sound system. Oh well, I still enjoyed parts of it. But only “parts”. I don’t like Orcs, any of the ugly creatures and the villains. But since the weren’t meant to be liked I guess thats all right. The music score is very lovely, and the locations and so forth are very impressive. Eowyn’s and Arwen’s dresses could have been more lovely but they did very well on them and I’ll probably be making quite a few imitations soon. The swords… Well, I think they did a very good job on them and I wouldn’t mind having a few of them but I think my own collection is very nice for the price I paid for it. Speaking of jewelry there is a tiara that Eowyn wears that I think is quite lovely. But I afraid my rating for the whole movie is… Well the movie was rated PG13 and I don’t think I can speak highly of a movie with that rating. There are many scary and frightening scenes in it, but in the book they are there and I don’t think the movie could have been made to the caliber of the book with out them. All though it could have been done… Anyway I did enjoy most of it and the fact that I stayed up that late when I was very sleepy and had every opportunity to stop, will speak for itself. Though I am glad I had the fast forward button at my command:)

Okay, now when I started this post there was something else I wanted to talk about… Hmm… Ah yes! “,” or commas as they are more usually know. I usually do my school work for one reason, to get it over and done with so I don’t have to bother with it, and since I usually don’t remember what I was studying the year before unless it was really awful and confusing, I don’t know much about commas. Fortunately(or Unfortunately depending on my point of view) I am about to begin my 10th grade Language book(”Yikesess my Precious”). So I will be learning a lot about commas and many other things. I do not look forward to Iagramingday, excuse me, diagraming. I wonder how French would sound in Pig Latin?

Comments

On January tenth I got an Email from Vicki Brown(she reads and comments on my website) telling me about her website where she has quotations that change every three days or so. Speaking of three days that about how long it takes me to check and answer emails which is really bad. There once was a time when I checked and answered emails nearly fifty times a day. I usually had about ten or so emails from the same person during that time and she and I would Email each other a lot. (Her name is Sarah Massatt.(if she does a google search for her name I hope she finds my website)) Sadly she had back surgery and wasn’t able to email me for the past few months and the result is that I haven’t been checking my Emails that much. I got an Email from her yesterday and I didn’t notice until now. Which means that I need to check my Emails more often.

I just realized that I have not talked about my subject yet and all though that is nothing new I should get to it. Comments. I didn’t know I had so many on website because I had never looked. I haven’t set it(a very useful word is “it” it can represent so many things) up so I get an email every time some one comments so I didn’t know. I have been going back and looking them over and it is very interesting. I have found that a lot of people have been making comments and some of them have even been asking questions. If you made a comment please go back and look at because I just made several replies to comments. And if you should ever be really bored you might enjoy going back to the February archives and reading a story I wrote. It is unique in the fact that it is one of the few stories I ever finished.

Now since I still have Vicki’s Email to answer and since it is 11:03 and I have company coming over tomorrow at 10:30 and my room happens to be a mess right now and I’ll have to do some cleaning before they come. And for many other various reasons I shall close this post.

Oh, and always make certain that you look on your mantle pieces after you have company that have spent the night and gone away with out seeing you, or else you might not get a note that tells you to meet them at 10:00 until 9:55, if then. (I am referring to “The Hobbit” because Bilbo had such an unfortunate circumstance happen to him.)

The Difficult Job of the Imperial Entertainment Committee

The Imperial Entertainment Committee at my house mainly consists of myself and my mother, and in case you are wondering what it does, it attempts to find videos and DVD’s that are suitable for family viewing. There is not very much imperial (YIKES!!! Spellcheck was off and I don’t know how to spell “Imperial” Good thing I relised(you really know you have misspelled a word when the correct word doesn’t show up on the list. I think I shall leave the word I misspelled like that in just for the fun of it:) that or this would have been a very interesting post… as far as spelling goes.) about it, and in case you don’t remember what I was talking about it was that the Imperial Entertainment Committee isn’t very imperial. I think I am beginning to talk well enough to be unintelligible(Refer to Jane Austin’s “Northanger Abbey”).

The three main things that I do is “Research”, “Locate”, and “Preview”. Research means looking on the web for good movies. Locate means finding them in a store or on a website, and Preview(which is my favorite) means watching it and making certain it is suitable for family viewing. I enjoy watching videos but I have almost had my fill of it. And that is extremely surprising. Any way, I went with my Mother to Best Buy(Mom does a little previewing, has the final word on what may or may not be shown, and does the most important job, Purchase. I also do a little purchasing, but as little as possible.) Now before going to Best buy we had been to Sams where we had bought a DVD to try. We usually don’t go to Best Buy and when we do we usually get a lot since we know we won’t be coming back anytime soon. We made a new record, eight DVD’s none of them less than an hour and half long and most of them more. So I have been previewing.

We went shopping Friday and came back around 5:00, It is now 5:00 on Sunday and I have watched all nine movies, started sewing an evening dress and done some other things. So that wasn’t too bad. I have watched more DVD’s in that space of time before but never so many new ones. Any way I highly recommend “His Girl Friday” with Carry Grant. And I leave you with this line “He definitely has lots of charm.” “He comes by it naturally, his Grandfather was a snake.”

Posting, Posting, 123… Test of the Great Pattern Subject

I am about to go to Walmart, and since a trip to Walmart is to me what a walk to Merriton was for Kitty and Lydia Bennett(all though I don’t flirt with officers(In case you don’t understand the previous remark look up “Pride and Prejudice”)) it should be mentioned. I have been looking up patterns (Mom has officially declared that I am going to be buying all of my own clothes) and found some things that might be nice to wear. There are two different types of patters(as far as I am concerned) the $5 to $10 dollar patterns and the $1 to $3 dollar patterns. Of course Mccalls, and Simplicity patterns are usually considered as separate but I usually just through them to together in the $5 to $10. Usually they have the costume patterns(I usually buy costume patterns, I have a huge collection…). Now the $1 to $3 patterns are usually rather boring looking outfits, like tops, skirts, and various other things that look very practical but not very “Costumy”(I enjoy inventing new words) I have been discovering that I am wrong, a few of the $1 to $3 patterns do have pieces that are “Costumy” also if I am going to be sewing my clothes the very practical $1 to $3 patterns will be very nice. Only… What I actually wear and what I would like to wear, and what I think is pretty, are completely different things. I have only a limited time before I go to Walmart so I won’t go into the subject of fashion, I have a feeling it would bore most people and Daniel(he just got back from a Ski Trip where it was very cold) probably wouldn’t enjoy it.

Oh, and something really nice has been happening lately, I have gotten a few people to sign up on Neopets! Today I got an Email that said “Congratulations you have reached 8 referrals” and all of my neopets went up a level!!! I do enjoy the prizes. Since my website is the only place that I have the link I know that some one has been on and reading my posts. Which is Eryvay Icenay or translated Very Nice. And I will close with “Mary wanted to say something very sensible but did not know how to do it.”

Computer games can be addicting…

I bought a new computer program, Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower. There was a series of books about Nancy Drew, all though I haven’t read any of them I know that she was a girl detective and had all sorts of adventures. The computer program was very interesting all though a bit time consuming. Which since I have a LOT of things to do(school and Neopets)wasn’t very good. I wanted to find out whether my idea about which person was the villain was correct, and I also wanted to finish the game and get into the royal tower, So I did a google search for “Nancy Drew Treasure Royal Tower Hints” and found a webpage with some very nice hints which enabled me to finish the game in a much faster time that I would have.

I have been on a shopping splurge lately,(Which is why I bought the program, because I felt like spending money…) I went to Walmart and spent $50, which was not very good despite the fact that I got a lot of Christmas money. I should be saving for my new computer and a lot of other things. But I got some nice things! I got several yards of a certain velvet that is just gorgeous despite its four-dollars-a-yard price, Two new patterns, and some other misc articles.

I am about to really start school again and :( I am not really looking forward to it. I don’t like school all though I need to get it done and over with. But I would rather be lazy. But I want to graduate. But I prefer playing neopets. But I would like to finish early. But I would rather not have the headaches. But… (I can’t think of another argument in favor of school all though I can think of several against it, such as But I would rather write a post, which is currently the leading argument because I am writing a post instead of doing school.)

So “Happy New Years!!!”
