It is Saturday and there still is snow on the ground

Which is not too bad because it means that I didn’t have to clean up my room for company :) Not that I mind company, I just mind cleaning up my room when I would rather be doing other things like actively typing. I am working on my story a bit, I just wrote the words “Chapter Ten” a bit ago. I hope that there will be at least fifteen chapters in the rough draft, and I would like to have twenty! But that might not happen. In the final draft there will probably be less chapters but the will be longer. I hope that there will be a final draft sometime soon, I think it would be so nice to have a completed book that is somewhat long, though I doubt it will be very good or interesting, but t may. I am trying to put in some humor and I probably will add some more in in later drafts. Then it may be worth posting, only I’ll probably do it one chapter at a time as a serial. But I’ll post it when it’s written. And knowing how I do things, and just how many things there are that I was planning on doing and haven’t, it may never be written but then again it may. Any way I suppose I ought to type on it instead of writing a post. Now since I am very thankful for Spellcheck I shall mention it and go through and correct all of my typing errors since I can’t read the screen right now because my head is too far away. 20/400 vision can be really annoying when you want to see.

Amazing!!! I only made about three or four typing errors so far. That is excellent!

Also, I played in the snow a bit today. I really enjoyed it! We had a plastic sled and I got to slide around a bit. Also I made a snowman! It was rather small and odd looking because I don’t have much experience in snowman making. Tomorrow I am running camera. Hopefully some time next week we will go to Walmart, I know I just went two posts ago but there was something I didn’t buy… Maybe since I am trying to save money I should be glad I don’t go as often as I would like, but I have been spending less, I managed to spend only about six dollars last time I went to Walmart, and that was amazing for me!

Oh how nice!!!

I have just discovered something about HTML Should you so desire to write a secret encoded message you can type it into the HTML brackets and it won’t show up. Which will be very nice because I want to save my story draft on my website and it is definitely not ready to be read. So eventually I probably will put it on a post. Oh, and it is snowing… Fortunately I went to Walmart last night and I have plenty to do(writing my story and cleaning my room.) It may prevent the company that was going to come over on Saturday from coming over but that means that my room won’t have to be clean:)

Enough is Enough and now is the time for posting…

I’ve almost had my fill of movies, the fifty movie mega pack came in last Thursday and since then I have been busy previewing. And since I have watched 27 of them it is now time for a break. We all ready had 8 of the 50 movies and the rest of the movies Mom wanted to preview first, that or they looked so boring that I didn’t care to watch them. It has been a very interesting experience watching so many movies in so few days, I think I have averaged over four movies a day, and that is not too bad considering that I have been doing school and other things. But now for other news.

On Saturday I went to the Dollmarket, which was rather expensive. I didn’t spend as much as usual though, Only $100.00 which I really should have saved up for my computer. I think I need to work more and spend less if I want to have a new laptop any time soon. But I did get some nice dolls, or perhaps I should say one really nice dolls and some fairly nice but not as nice stuff. The lovely doll I got was a Tiny Kitty, the smaller of the two dolls in case you go to the website. I got the basic brunette and was very pleased to find that she can wear Barbie clothes because $45.00 to $50.00 per outfit is rather expensive.

Surprisingly this post is not going to be very long. I am hoping to get back to writing my book soon,I do want to finish it even though it probably won’t be very good. I think I’ll try writing a collection of short stories after this, or perhaps elaborate plots that would make interesting books.

WALMART!!!

I must say, that of all of the stores in the world Walmart is one of my favorites. I have many favorites of course, like the Dollmarket and the Thrift store, because it all depends on what I am shopping for.

Walmart,(and this is not a paid advertisement (though it should be) which proves that Walmart is an excellent store since I am highly praising it without having too) is where I was this evening for over an hour, and I enjoyed almost every minute of it(except near the end when I was with my parents in the food isle, but even that wasn’t too boring.) Any way my parents were going to go into Lowes which is right across the street from Walmart. So I asked to be dropped of at Walmart, and I was. I walked in and after taking a leisurely course through the jewelry and clothing section(I was very good and didn’t get anything from those departments (which is something I can’t always say(I usually avoid the jewelry department at all cost as I have a great partiality for jewelry and usually buy some.))) I then ended up in the material section where a close examination of the dollar-a-yard fabrics was conducted. I found 10 yards that I liked, five yards of a floral material, the two yards of a green sheer(for a faerie costume(if you don’t know what a “sheer” or if you do and you don’t know why I want a two yard long cutting device, the sheer I am referring to happens to be a thin, see through material.)) Then I found two yards of a pink material, the I found four wolfs and two bears, or to be more exact, pillow material that had a picture of two wolfs standing together and on the other side(or what I am going to sew for the other side) a picture of a bear. I got enough of the fabric to make two pillows. so that was nice.

My, the post is all ready this long and I haven’t even gotten to the vastly important part, CLEARANCE!!! (By the way, you may have noticed that when I want to emphasize a word I write it in all capital letters, though that is not grammatically correct I think, but it’s easy.(YIKES!!! I just realized I forgot to turn spell check on… Fixed now, this would be a very different post with it off, “leisurely” would have been spelled wrong)) But back to Clearance, I was walking to the toy section(another section that I always go to.) when I noticed an entire isle with sale and clearance and marked down tags. Being the sort of person that always investigates such things, I investigated(I spelled that word right(Though I didn’t spell Clearance right(I am appalled at my not knowing how to spell on of my favorite words!))) and I came, I saw, and I conquered(Some famous person said something similar to that effect; only he said it in a different language and though I can pronounce it, I can’t spell it!) That aside, I looked around was struck with the amount of Lego(another unpaid ad(Maybe when I get hundreds of readers(very doubtful of happening)I might get some paid ads on here! Maybe I could advertise my brother Daniel’s web design company, he set up this website for me and did all of the graphic work(though I chose the color purple(I doubt he would have)))) sets on sale. As I was looking at the Lego sets(I thought I would repeat what I was looking at incase you forgot) and noticing the low prices I was wishing I had an excuse to buy one, when I realized that I did have an excuse, and a very good one. My brother Andrew’s birthday(which I had temporally forgotten) is this Saturday and I was now able to buy him a fifty dollar lego set for eighteen dollars. And I doubt he would have known the difference if I hadn’t told him. But I hope he enjoys the new lego set, because if he doesn’t I’ll probably enjoy it and it will serve its purpose.

As I want to post this post before midnight I will say that I am back into excellent spirits(Walmart is an excellent cure for Language(as in my school work) and many and various other ailments) And I hope to be writing a lot more, mainly because I like writing, I want to become very good at writing, and I need to work at my spelling and this is one of the best ways(without giving one a serious headache(Though mainly Tenses give headaches, and they are not “Perfect” by any means)). For example I now know how to spell “clearance”(with a ance not an ence) and “writing”(I always type it writting for some reason, and I know very well it’s spelled with just one “T”). Well, I should post this right now so it will be in before midnight, and please, never ask me which tense my sentence is in, or ask me to diagram it, or ask me whether it is compound, simple, complex, or compound complex(or merely a run on or fragment(as is very likely)), because you probably won’t get the incorrect answer, though you might.

Also, I hope that you enjoyed this post!

We didn’t go to Walmart… And I made a discovery!

Well, we aren’t going to Walmart and it is very interesting when a prediction comes to pass(refer to previous post.) But anyway(I doubt that is grammatically correct) I am once again smiling because I have just discovered something that is very nice and works a lot better. Of course it is expensive but I had better go back to the beginning and look at certain facts. 1. I like to sew. 2. Sewing requires patterns. 3. Patterns are expensive 4. They don’t fit me as well as they could. 5. pattern software is also expensive. 6. But it would be fun. 7. There are many pattern making softwares. 8. It is difficult to chose. 9. Especially when La Donna Mobile. However, I think I finally found one that has options that I would really use, and plenty more. Unfortunately it happens to be a $200.00 program and that isn’t exactly in the budget right now. But it will be later, of that I am rather certain. There are a LOT of options, especially sleeve options which are very important. The program I was think of getting had almost nothing as far as sleeves were concerned. So I am very happy with the one I finally picked out. And tomorrow we may go to Walmart and the very important DVD set of fifty classic movies may come in, and if it doesn’t I’ll still have it to look forward too. When it does come in I have a feeling I will be very busy previewing…

P.S. This should have been posted the night before last, but I forgot…

February 16, 2004

I definitely am getting to be more like a teen-age girl…

I know that, because I am beginning to like styles and things that I used to not like and… Well I guess a discussion of clothes is rather boring for this website. Anyway I just had to take off a shirt by order of Mom because she said it was too “tight” Actually it wasn’t even snug and I still had plenty of room! If I was a movie star or a fashion model or a regular teen ager I think the figure I have would be very nice… But for me being rather small in the waist and larger elsewhere is annoying, especially when it makes almost anything look “Tight” as Mom calls it. And it is unfortunate that I like things that are fitted. Most of the clothes in my closet I don’t wear because either Mommy really likes them and I don’t, or I really like them and Mom doesn’t… Oh well, as far as clothes go I wish I lived many, many years ago… But as far as modern inventions go I am glad I live now, I don’t know what I would do without my computer, DVD’s, Sewing machine, and modern plumbing.

Any way, I am about to go to Walmart and I should be very happy about that. It has been a very long time since I was last there. I’ll have to be careful not to spend too much money though. A new Eowyn is very high on my list of things to get but I am still about four hundred dollars away from it, and at the rate I spend it will take a while to make that. Also we are about to make our annual trip to the Dollmarket and that is usually very expensive. Also I still haven’t bought the pattern software I was going to… The decisions of how to spend money are very important. Oh, and I have been doing a lot of language today, which will explain why I have a bad headache, feel depressed for no reason, and why I am not as excited about going to Walmart as I should be… Oh and I bought the shirt that I can’t wear, and when you personally pay money for something that you won’t wear it isn’t a pleasant feeling. I had better end this post and I hope that tomorrow I will be able to write something more worth reading. I am very glad I have this website, sometimes just writing something down makes one feel better, and twenty years from now when I’ll probably have a lot more bothersome and annoying things on my mind, I may enjoy knowing how very little I had to bother me when I was fifteen… At least there wasn’t an earthquake today(Eyore) Oh, and the very important DVD set that was supposed to come in Friday but didn’t, didn’t come in today. No I really must end this post and get ready to go(If we even are going, which I doubt(more Eyore))

February 14, 2004

My humble appoligies for not posting…

And since I have a great deal to mention I shall get right to the point(if there is one.).

I would say that the most important thing that happened(though it might be the second, or actually I shall say) One of the more important things that happened since Monday would be my trip to the mall on Wednesday with some friends of mine. I went to Build-A-Bear and I built a very cute little bear. Also I bought some clothes for it. And while I was at the mall I spotted a beautiful Tiara, which I didn’t buy despite the fact that is was only $12.00 and I didn’t have one just like it.

But I did buy the Tiara, though not on Wednesday. Today I stopped by the Mall and since they were having a buy one get one fifty percent off, I bought two tiaras. Also my Mom went to Build-a-bear as I had discovered that the outfits fit a Teddy bear she had perfectly. She bought three outfits there. Also we did other miscellaneous shopping

I suppose I should put things in chronological order, but I don’t feel like bothering to do it. I’ll probably put the thing that happened last last so that will be all right. On Monday night(or early Tuesday morning, I forget which.) I was looking on Ebay and I made a great discovery. it was a DVD set, fifty movies on twelve discs for thrirty dollars. And they were classic older movies too. So on Tuesday(when everybody was up) it was purchased. I was hoping it would arrive today but my hopes were crushed… Instead my school DVD’s arrived and I was not pleased when I discovered that instead of what I was hoping for, what I wasn’t hoping for happened. But to continue to recent events

Not too recently we checked out “The Mikado” from the library. However due to the fact that we couldn’t understand what most of the people were saying due to the the fact that they were singing, we missed some of the amusing lines. I had meant to look up on Google if there was a website that had what they were singing and saying but I didn’t bother to do it until tonight, when I discovered that there was one, and it even had more than just the words! The Gilbert and Sullivan Archive Home Page is the great and mighty website, and I do recommend seeing their online Mikado presentation.

So, since I was all ready thinking about making a Japanese style Kimono I switched my thoughts to making enough costumes for a whole cast, and doing the Mikado the same way I did the Parlor Scene from Pride and Prejudice(which I have yet to video edit due to my computers non cooperation.) In the PS from P and P only the person talking was shown on the screen as I was doing all of the acting. Now that might be a bit difficult to do an Opera in that style but it probably could be managed. In fact I am quite sure it could be managed if I had one or so of the characters be stuffed animals with me being the actors. I have a very interesting looking White stuffed gorilla that would make a delightful Katasha… I don’t want to be her since her face is not beautiful and though I do not say like Yum Yum “Yes, I am indeed beautiful! Sometimes I sit and wonder, in my artless Japanese way, why it is that I am so much more attractive than anybody else in the whole world. Can this be vanity? No! Nature is lovely and rejoices in her loveliness. I am a child of Nature, and take after my mother. ” Still my left shoulder blade is not my most attractive feature… I think if I shorten the chorus down to just one person, or actually two persons, the gentlemen of Japan and the other females, I should do all right. So my object all sublime I shall achieve in time, is to let the punishment fit the crime… Fortunately the score does not require any extremely high notes and is relatively easy to sing, which is just as well since I can’t sing as well as some persons who have the ability to shatter glass, and not just with their reflections… However since I will probably wait until I get my new computer(which may be a while… Especially since I don’t have a birthday coming up and I am not doing well on school and I am spending most of what I am earning…) I may never do it, but then again I may! I think it would be very fun to do the Mikado and since every one in my family likes it I think they would not be too bored with my rendition of it. I hope…

However, I hope that I am going to start posting every day again. I think I know why I haven’t though, I have been preoccupied with Neoquest, a new game on Neopets. It is very interesting and very time consuming… I am currently about half way through part two of five parts… and that is with playing it a lot during the past few days! Fortunately I have set up my PDP(personal DVD player) so I can watch a DVD and play it at the same time, which works quite well. As soon as the set of DVD’s arrive I shall start previewing and playing Neoquest in earnest… Which means that it might be another long space of time before I write a post. But they probably won’t come in until Monday which means that Saturday should be a productive day, hopefully…

Well, I have done a lot of clothes shopping lately…

Today I went to Hamricks. Since it was raining I looked at jackets. I found a nice pink one. I also bought three tops, two sweaters and a rather fancy black one with embroidered white flowers. I think that I must be writing this post too early because it currently seems boring and to the point. Oh well, I guess I’m not in a writing mood right now. Also I opened my first checking/bank account today. That was nice.

Yet more poetry… And a movie idea

I was taking a shower, and since there is almost nothing to do in a shower but to either sing(which I never do) or to strictly pay attention to business(which I seldom do) or to actively think(which I usually do.) So towards the end(I was think about dragons, since dragons are in my book, that I am writing) and I was thinking about addapting it into a movie. I suddenly remembered a stuffed dragon that I have and I thought that it would make a good dragon to sit on treasure(though it is rather adorable, perhaps to adorable to be a fierce dragon) Then I started think of doing a little movie with the dragon laying on my jewelry collection and what it could do and say. The dragons name is very suggestive of ideas as you will see. When I bought it, it had a tag that said “Longfellow”(that was probably because the stuffed dragon is very long and somewhat floppy.) But just Longfellow wasn’t enough of a name so I thought that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow would make an excellent name for the dragon. For those who know nothing of poetry Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote this poem,

I shot an arrow in the air

It fell to earth, I knew not where

For who has a sight so keen and narrow

That can follow the flight of an arrow

I breathed a song into the air

It fell to earth, I knew not where

For who has a sight so keen and strong

That can folloe the flight of a song.

So I made this adaption for the dragon to say, I refers to the dragon and He refers to the other person.

He shot an arrow in the air

It fell to earth, he knew not where

For who has a sight that can note

An arrow once it enters a dragon’s throat.

He screamed a scream into the air.

It fell to earth, He knew not where

For who has a sight that can see

Through fire that a dragon breathes

So I think I am going to do a little movie with my cute little dragon, though I’ll have to wait until I earn my new computer to video edit it. But that shouldn’t be too far away.

Finaly…

I got to go to the thrift store! I had a grand time. I spent approximately 57 dollars and got 23 items so I averaged less than three dollars an item. And I got some very nice things. Highlights were a green sequined dress, a black jacket with a partially beaded collar(I have a great weakness for beaded, sequined, and shimmery sort of things, and I buy them even though I know I’ll probably never be able to wear them.) But considering that I got a lot of things I can wear I probably spent a lot less money than if I was going to a regular store. Especially than I would have spent if I bought the same quantity of things at the mall. Of course, if I shopped at usual stores were prices are higher I probably would not have as many clothes, which might not be a bad idea since my closet is overflowing… But… I have fun. And I am not going to write too long of a post since I am watching a video and I only paused it to write this post and I think it is time to finish it. So this is the end of this post.
