Yesterday evening I met Jennifer
Today was a really fun day! Last night we went out to eat with some friends of my Dad who had known him for a very long time. And they had a grand daughter named Jennifer who is fourteen years old. We had a very good time talking together and we had a lot of similar interests. She just got a sewing machine for Christmas so we talked about sewing and when we parted in the evening there was a hope of seeing each other the next day, or today.
So this morning I called her(we had exchanged cell phone numbers) and my Mom was able to pick her up at the hotel she was staying at and we got to spend seven hours together today! That was really fun!!! We sewed a dress and a cape for her and we talked about stories we’d made up and we watched a movie and several movies I’d made and the day passed remarkably quickly. She just left so now I’m writing a post about today. And since I’m now a little bit tired and I want to use my own computer and perhaps start writing a story or a script I think I’ll end this post.
I do enjoy having company! Providing, of course, that the company is approximately my own age(give or take five years), friendly, and I don’t have to clean up my room for them:) So hopefully, in the new year of 2006 I can enjoy a slight bit more of a social life than I had in 2005. It’s been a good beginning so far!
Happy New Year!
