Pictures of Emma Grace

Hello rabid relations restlessly reconnoitering renderings of resplendent Emma Grace. I thought it would be fun to have a lot of words starting with R in the previous sentence. My mother has given me six pictures and careful instructions to put every single one of them on here therefore you are about to see five pictures of Emma Grace.

I Net Elizabeth Emma Grace.jpg
First off we have the most important(sort of) pictures, me holding Emma Grace. I got to hold her right after she had eaten so she was quite happy and I held her in the rocking chair and swayed her gently so she didn’t cry was I holding her. I liked that. I checked every few minutes to make sure I was holding her correctly. I was. She was very cuddly and cute and I’m sure she still is.

  I NET Baby Group.jpg
Emma Grace is going to be well photographed. In the left of this picture you can see Emma Grace’s parent’s. More of them later.

I Net John Erin.jpg
Or actually, more of them right now! Here they are before Emma Grace’s arrival.

I Net John baby.jpg
And here is John holding little Emma Grace his first born daughter whom he was hoping for a bit was going to be a boy simply because he knows more of what to do with a boy. But I think he’ll be quite happy with Emma Grace and I’m sure he loves her very much. I’m also fairly sure that she’s going to have a brother eventually.

I net first diaper.jpg
Mom told me this picture was of the utmost importance, Emma Grace’s first diaper! Personally I don’t think it’s that nice of a picture of her but I don’t really know anything about what is supposed to be cute about a baby.

 I net Baby Smile 2.jpg
However, I do know that this picture is soooooo cute. She has the sweetest little smile! She didn’t quite smile that way at me, but maybe I didn’t notice.

So now you know something of what Emma Grace looks like. We will probably be visiting her tonight also and there may even be more pictures of her though I’m not promising anything.

Oh just so you know, all of the pictures of Emma Grace in this post were taken withen less than twenty-four hours of her birth. She was born at 5:30 in the morning of February 27th and weighed 7 1/2 pounds and was 19 inches long.

February 27th was an important date for me for another reason because I completed 12th grade language on that date. Which means I just have two subjects left to go to be finished with high school! Isn’t that fascinating? Though I suppose compared to Emma Grace my academic achievements can fade away into the grass but as I’m taking the rest of this week off from school you won’t have to worry about me mentioning it further. Emma Grace is very sweet.

A picture from last weekend

I Net Eliz Erika Ale.jpg

From left to right, Erika(My cousin), Alejandra(foreign exchange student from Mexico currently living at Erika’s house who is typically known by nicknames), and me. We have just returned from a shopping trip to Walmart, hence the smiles, and Erika and Ale(aly is how that is pronounced) are acting a bit silly. When I act silly I usually just take it to the extent of putting on funny sunglasses or making loud noises unexpectedly, either of the singing variety or imitations of animal noises. Erika and her friend have silliness down to an art form. They were fun to be around last weekend. And I especially loved going to Walmart with them and seeing them in the Pirates of Penzance.

Several Important Things are there to relate

The most important is that I am now officially an aunt. Her name is Emma Grace. She arrived at five-thirty this morning whilst I was peacefully sleeping at home in bed (Mom stayed up all night at the hospital waiting for her). She weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces. I will be seeing her later today and when that happens I will probably get my picture taken with her and then post the picture on here with further details.

The second important item is that Saturday night we got back from our weekend trip to Virginia to see my cousin Erika star in her school’s production of The Pirates of Penzance. The play was wonderful, very funny, and I had a great visit with Erika. Erika can drive so we went to Walmart and that was quite fun which sort of brings us to the last item.

I am about to finish 12th grade language. The primary reason for this is whilst I was at Walmart I purchased a doll who I’m not going to take out of the packaging until I finish Language. As I really want to open and play with her 12th grade language is getting done with rapidity(I got her Saturday and I’ve almost done two units of school since then). I have a little over two units of school left. Though getting my school done isn’t quite as “Important” as my new niece it certainly has been filling my thoughts more, probably because I haven’t seen my niece yet.

Another thing I’ve doing a great deal of thinking about is the new dress I’m going to be making. It’s approximately based on Sleeping Beauties dress from the movie of the same name. I have a lovely dark blue satiny fabric and a pretty lavender blue satiny fabric and I have also designed a very interesting skirt that I’m very curious to find out if it works. I’m also wanting to open my doll so throughout today I’ll probably be torn between doing school and making my dress and hopefully I’ll have both of those items done before this evening so I can pay proper attention to my niece. I’m sure she’ll be charming. I’m her only aunt though she has several great aunts and so forth. Erin doesn’t have any sisters and John has only one sister therefore I’m quite special. She has several uncles though. So now it’s time for me to get to work on Language and then on sewing and so forth for the rest of the day. I’ll probably write a post dedicated to Emma Grace this evening, this post is just the sneak preview:)

Much Exhausted Yesterday I Was

Still tired today I am. Much work did I yesterday. Too early in the morning it is for me to think up an interesting post. Leave it as it is now I will. More interesting post will I write later, probably tomorrow. Have fun and relax today I hope to. Watched Star Wars an episode of last night I did. If understand that you do not then understand it you did not.

End of the post this is.

Doing much school this week I am

Doing much else this week I am not. I’m trying to get Twelfth Grade Language done and over with and I was on the end Unit two(of ten) at the beginning of the week and here it is Wednesday and Unit Six was just completed today. I’m going to try to get Unit eight done tomorrow. They are very long units and it does take nearly all day to do one. As the Language Course is supposed to be done over one school year I’m actually doing 1/10 of an entire school year in one day. So that’s rather good:) I hope to have it done soon and then I’ll be concentrating on writing and getting my room cleaned up. And using a To Do list again. This week I’m not using one because I have GET LANGUAGE DONE!!! Firmly embedded in my brain to the exclusion of nearly all else. Except, of course for MAKE PRESENTS!!! At some point in the near future I’m going to be visiting my cousin Erika and when I visit somebody I like to bring them a present. Erika’s present is going to be a fantasy sort of dress. Hopefully it will look nice and fit her. Also I’m making an outfit for a foreign exchange student/friend who is staying at Erika’s house. I’ll find out whether she reads my website or not by whether she knows about her present or not.

Speaking of depressing things(or was I?) in school today I was supposed to have read Shakespeare’s Hamlet. I’m very glad Mom said I didn’t have too because what I encountered in the lesson about Hamlet was enough to seriously depress me for half an hour and I probably would have been depressed much longer only Mom baked a cake (cheerful level went way up) and I started watching some episodes of The Muppet Show and attempted to forget that Ophelia drowned herself and that Hamlet and five other main characters died tragically in the last act and the king was poisoned at the beginning by his brother who then took his throne, wife, and so forth. Anyway, I don’t like Tragedies. I knew that before I encountered Hamlet. I like things to have a happy ending. And that is why I usually write stories with a very happy ending. Though I must say, I was rather tempted this afternoon to write a tragedy. A short one of course. But I don’t think I will. Tragic as Hamlet was it was almost nothing compared to “The Golden Fleece” a book that I read a while ago and still remains in my mind as one of the most depressing books I’ve ever read. It was not a case of just a pair of hapless lovers who end up tragically, in that book there was the hero who first had a girl fall in love with him, and then he left her to die of a broken heart, and then there was a sort of mutual falling in love between him and another women but then she turned into a villainess and went away to do dark deeds while he fell in love with a sweet beautiful princess and then when the other woman came back she was so mad I think she killed the princess and either she killed the hero or he killed himself or somebody else killed him. And that was just part of the horribleness of the book.

Anyway, now that I may have depressed you I really ought to put some very humorous and light hearted story or joke or something on here to cheer you up. Unfortunately I don’t think I could write one right now and it’s my bed time anyway so I’ll just suggest that you read The Lord of the Ving or perhaps do a search on my website for Rabbits.

It’s a little odd studying the internet in school

I did a lot of school yesterday and hopefully I’m going to do a lot of school today. I have a lot of school to get down and now that I’ve said the words a lot of school a lot I’m going to end this post.

Though first I would like to mention that it is my brother Andrew’s birthday and he turns twenty today so Happy Birthday Andrew.

I’ve been having a lot of fun today with my PMC

Portable Media Center is what PMC stands for and PMC is what I think I’ve decided to call my wonderful little Archos 380 which is what I’ve been playing with today. I’ve been utilizing the editing features of my PMC to enable me to make my own edits of movies. First I watch the movie on my computer and decide when I want to start and stop recording and then after I finish figuring out how I want the movie to be and then I put the DVD in the DVD player which I have my PMC connected to and then by hitting the record button at the times indicated by the text thing I wrote of when to take the shots and then in a while the movie to my specifications is ready.

Today I cut Star Wars Episode One down to forty-five minutes and the disney Cinderella down to twenty-two minutes and twenty-two seconds. That was probably the shortest I cut a movie down to so far. I did about five minutes today and, at the time of writing this, I’m currently deciding on the edits of one more movie. Though I may wait to record it on my PMC until tomorrow because I ought to go to sleep soon. But we’ll see. I’ve been having fun.

When I watch a movie I often use the skip button and fastforward button to skip to just my favorite parts. So with my own edits I’m saving myself the trouble of pressing the skip button by just putting in my favorite parts to begin with. Though I usually do try to include important plot information too so that the story sort of does make sense. Anyway, it’s bed time:)

Finished almost todays to do list is

And the odd thing is that I haven’t watched Star Wars in a long time… Anyway, my to do list said to write a post and as this and one other thing is all I have yet to check off of todays to do list and as I need to be in bed in nine minutes and I still have the other thing to finish this is all the post for today. Have a nice day!

The Rough Draft of Rilc’s Story has begun

And so far it appears as though I’ve been able to weave in a little bit of subtle humor and whole lot of not so subtle humor. I like writing short chapters for this book I am only planning on Two Page chapters but a whole lot of those. I estimate about eleven or twelve chapters for this book. And there should be a lot of exciting adventure and I might not end up posting it on here but who knows.

In other news my To Do List is slowly but surely geting down for this book. I did about two hours worth of work on cleaning up my room today. One fun thing about cleaning up my room is that a lot of forgotten treasures emerge and can be played with and enjoyed again. Tomorrow more work on my room should occur and also some more school work and, of course, work on Rilc’s Story. According to my To Do list I’m supposed to have it finished by Saturday night. I’m not sure that’s going to happen but it might.

So since I have a busy day tomorrow and I’m rather tired tonight I think I’ll go to sleep now and end this post though I’ll probably end the post before I go to sleep.
