More pictures of Emma Grace

Here is Emma Grace arriving home from the hospital greeted by thirteen balloons, two dozen roses, and a sign saying “It’s a girl”.

Now you will get to see the delightful nursery that Emma Grace was going to. It is the most beautiful of nurseries and the walls were painted by Erin. The nursery has a classic Winnie the Pooh theme.

And here is Emma Grace meeting Buckie, or Buckie meeting Emma Grace however you want to look at it.

Thinking about it, Buckie’s head is about as big as Emma Grace. It will probably take her quite a few years to be bigger (or at least weigh more) than Buckie, as in maybe fifteen or twenty years:) Though it all depends on how much she eats…

More pictures of Emma Grace coming up shortly!

At present though you can scroll down to the post before last to see some early pictures of her.

Whilest I was visiting my cousin Erika she had a magazine of prom dresses and I flipped through and thought how ugly some of the dresses were and how pretty other of the dresses were and then I came across a few very interesting and unusual skirts. Naturally I thought “How did they make those?” and after thinking for a while I came up with some of the answers. So yesterday I thought I’d make a prom dress with one of the interesting skirts and I thought I would make it for my doll. So in the pictures she is moddling the dress I made for her and which I think turned out wonderfully. Typically the first dress I make for a new doll size does not fit the doll very well but this dress fit perfectly and looked wonderful. And I learned the art of the “Bustle Skirt” as it is described by the prom dress manufacturers. I’m planning on making some more prom dresses for my dolls and attempt to master the art so that when I sew for me, or anybody else, my options for what I can make will be far greater than it would otherwise be. Or something like that. It’s a nice dress.
